We had a bear come thru our camp while I was cooking bacon for breakfast, last time we were at Ice House. I love camping there. Seen a few nice deer. Good luck........Here's Biggest Elk shot in Nevada in 2010. My foster son. One shot with a bow at 25yards. Score 388......happy stalking......

I live about 20-30 mins from icehouse road so its close ...
if you can catch it just before a big storm, they really migrate thru there heading for the foothills. If not, talk to the 'Jeepers" up on the Rubicon, sometimes they see some nice deer. It's much better deer area now, since the big fire. Good luck.

jusT a question, why do you like chasing your food after you shoot it?

Depending on how well it was hit, you sit down and smoke X amount of bowls, and then you go find where it layed down and bled out.

Chasing it afterwards is for noobs who don't know wtf they are doing. Stumble across many a carcass with sticks still in them. Usually from some asshat taking a shot while the animal was quartered towards the shooter, thinking they could hit that dime from 50 yards away. Instead, they put a stick in its guts and it runs miles away to die.

So if a white tail deer has 4 points on one side and 5 on the other, what do you call it?

A 4x5 is what I would call it, because that's what it fucking is!

9 point my ass, only for someone trying to compensate for something maybe, lol.

When you measure your dick, do you bottom out the ruler in your pooch, or do you measure from first contact like a real man?
