Wow, nice thread you have here. Just got myself caught up, i am also just starting my first breeding grow. In the picture up above with three pots is that GDP in the black pot, and is it a male? I also think that cocoa puff, in the picture right above is also looking really nice is it a sativa dom with short stretch? The reason why I ask is because it looks like it has skinny leafs, but regardless its a beauty. Im subbed! Keep up the great work!

Yeah. the pictured plants are or will be male. :)
Spraying 2 female clones to make female pollen. :)

GDP is ready for pollen collection tonight. but i'll give him another full night to get some good sacs opened.
Cocoa Puffs is starting to build on his sacs. but he's at least a week out.
and is Sativa Dom with a 10-12 week plant life.

as for the other 2 i hope one or both show soon.

Just started my spraying of Blue Thai in veg as well. Just in case the Blue Dream don't turn for me.

Anyways. that's about all i got.

Do you let them shed pollen naturally and collect or do you harvest the pods and crush them? Also what is your success rate on using CS to create fem pollen?
I've got a GDP male I am thinking about keeping. Not 100% sure yet, he smells somewhat fruity. Time will tell.

I do both. Collect crush or wait for the plant to powder up itself.

Have not had success with CS. Dankster has though. that's why i'm trying it. :)

I'll let everyone know what happens to the Blue Dream and Cotton Candy clones. :)

I buy those paper oil funnels. I cut them in the center. Wrap it around the branch. I get a good pollen yield doing this. I like using horse hair brushes. Synthetic brushes suck.

I'm getting into breeding with my own stuff. With land of race strains and mainstream stuff. Like cheese, og, blue berry etc. Most of my breeding has been outdoor and occasionally indoor. I'm gonna be making a shit load of fems here in a minute. I'm working sativa doms. Or strains with sweet tiva influence and that do good outdoors as well as in.

I want my next outdoor run to be enough to cramp my hands trimming.

I got a ill Bank name and logo. With a bad ass concept too. Abbreviated its BMS. I have two homies that beta test for me. One here in FL and another up north. My hommie here in FL does straight outdoor like me. But I got the knack for choosing ill ass males and females. Maybe one day we could start our own Justice League. Lmao;-)

I'm making a Pollen fan bag..... Small computer fan, plastic bag, bamboo stakes, plant and pollen.... I'll take pics when i do it. AND let everyone know if it worked. lol

If so i will be fuckin happy. because i'm sick of trying to paint. I got 14 seeds my first attempt. and 0 my second.
And i know it's not the pollen.... It's me. lol

for some reason i feel theres gotta be a better way then paintbrushing pollen
I mix male pollen with a lil corn grits or flour. So I don't waste it. As far as the dusting I've done it multiple ways. I like using a combo of paint brush and brown bag dusting. But for more controlled dusting I brush.
Once you dust a bud or two you can get more aggressive. The brush is sticky with trichomes at this point. So it won't fly round like mad. Don't worry bout putting the ladies back with the others. The pollen gets stuck in the trichomes. If I remember right Scott from RD goes over this on video on you tube somewhere.
