What I did, was get a Wax melter. Behind a Tower fan in my room.

You're a Female so it won't throw anyone off if it smells like Fruits and roses in your room... Me.. Well.. Kinda awkward :D

I say Wax melter because Candles get fuckin Spendy! And believe it or not, wax itself isn't all that expensive.. It's the Labor that you're paying for when they put a Wick in it and burn your place down with a Flame...

That, or those Frebreeze outlet things.. They last up to like 9 weeks? Just plug it in and boom.. Freshness. They're like $5 a Pop and I put one in every outlet in the room
And three in your bathroom..:o.. LMAO....

Yeah, I need to figure out a way to do that... the clamp lights I bought from Wal-Mart don't seem able to hold one of those big CFL's without falling down over a few hours and I've had 2 fall on one of my plants... :/ At the moment I have the clamp lamps just hanging from the cords on either side of the plants with a y splitter and 2 bulbs, but youre right I need to figure out how to get more light penetration cause the way I have it seems to be a waste of bulbs.
Yeah those clamps for lights are about worthless. I am sure you will figure something out. I've seen lights hanging by planter string of round hooks screwed into the ceiling. I've see people using surge protectors mounted on a wall with light sockets plug into them... one way or another I'm sure you will come up with something. Important thing is Safety first.

Well what would you do Mr. Swag?

Keeping in mind she doesn't have the $$$$$ for LEDs
If I woke up in her shoes, well I'd play with myself, a lot :D. Meaning if I woke up as a girl that's the first thing I would do, then I would find a young stud I can trust and then get him to do it with my womanly charms :D That is to resolve the fact my bush needs more light penetration.

very nice entries.... read the whole thread... i just started a WWxBB and it sprouted a week ago... not much light on it but its growing... yours is very inspiring to get mine on the right track. looking great!

Lowes has some nice desk lamps on clearance, cheaper than those walmart lights. They come with those bendy snake necks that you can position anywhere up and down and sideways.

Long ways and back ways.. Lol!!

Thanks, if I have time I'll stop by Lowes tonight and take a look! I have a desk lamp from walmart that is better than the clamp lamps, but it says 40w max on the socket.... not trying to start a fire!

I was playing around with the manual settings on my camera today and got some pretty sweet pics :eyesmoke:

lol yeah if you look at these lowes lamps, they say 13w cfl max. I completely gutted them and they bolt directly onto my hood. Also the porcelain socket in the lamps say 650w limit on them.
It's the cheap plastic shade that was on it that looks like it would melt at high temps.

Jesus Christ!...

Why not take a Surge Protector with some power Sockets and Y splitters... 6 Outlets equals 6 Sockets times two for Y splitters that's 12 Bulbs at 23w a Pop Boom... 276w... Taking up 10x less space than that Space Ship you made Lol

rofl, yeah, I got a little carried away with those things :P What I was thinking is to get the lights as close as possible on the top and underneath, and usually it's not even. I basically went into lowes going to buy sockets, plugs, and lamp cord. And these lamps had all that at a cheaper price, and probably better quality too as the sockets were cheap plastic. So I thought I'd mess around with those bendy things to see if I could make a use for them.

nice hood rig there... i got the same lamps for lowes at like 5 a piece.... couldnt get shade off the lamp completely tho... but as dude said just throw some splitters in all of them and your in the game...

and nice close ups of those plants Bygon.... the trichs are mesmerizing

if you look where the switch is, in the vents you can see 4 plastic pieces through them. I broke them with a screwdriver and the shade comes right off.

Thanks for the tips guys. I bought a cheapie 147w LED that I'm waiting on to get here (not sure if I mentioned that or not) and I've got a good amount of side lighting going on right now.

Sooo... interestingly enough, I think I made some moonshine out of molasses lol.

I've been using molasses the past few times I've watered and decided to make a bottle of diluted molasses in a water bottle mixed with warm water to make pouring it easier and less messy. That was about 2 weeks ago. Opened it today and for some reason decided to smell it (that shit smells nasty IMO straight out of the jar! idk why I smelled it) and there was an INTENSE smell of alcohol and ass haha. Not sure why it's fermenting in the water but not on it's own... weird!

^ HELL no lol... maybe if I get real desperate I'll take a swig ;-)

My LED came!! :D It literally blinded me when I plugged it in to see if it worked... I've been seeing red and blue lights in my vision for like 10 mins now... so it definitely works! Not very stealth though when I open up my tent.... my whole room turns purple.

So now I have 225w of CFL and 147w of LED :D

Only use molasses every week. Also, molasses and water can't be stored (unless in a fridge otherwise it will start fermentation)
