He said Bush was the Devil. I'm not sure if he meant literally, but what Bush has fostered upon the world sure looks like develish work to me!

Chavez was right, He professes Christianity and does the Devils work. He has put us in an endless war and destroyed our economy. He has given free reign to corporations while removing our basic freedoms and spying on us. He has lied, and continues to lie about everything from the economy to Iraq. This is one evil asshole, and his mentor Dick Cheney is even worse! Only my opinion!

1. Devil's work? What's that?

2. Endless war? What would your response to 9-11 be if your were in Bush's shoes?

3. Destroyed the economy? The employment rate is over 95%. The stock market hit an all time record high yesterday. Over 68% of Americans own their own home. Interest rates still hover at all time lows. Sounds like a great economy to me.

4. Free reign to corporations? You mean like the Enron executives that just started their prison sentences?

5. Removed basic freedoms? Please list the rights as enumerated in the Constitution that you've lost.

6. Spying on us? The only communications that have been intercepted are those that are INCOMING from KNOWN terrorists. Stop being paranoid, your phone lines are not tapped.

7. Only your opinion? Yeppers, your opinion and that of your misguided fellow travelers in the Democratic party.

I didn't vote for Bush either time, nor did I vote for his Dad. But, with that said, I'm proud to have a president who has taken those who would destroy us to task. What in hell would you have done after 9-11, just sit idly by and wait for another attack? To date, there has not been ONE terrorist attack on our soil, thanks to the present administration.

your beyond hope, are you sure your not Jack Abramhof, or Tom Delay? Maybe your really Don Rumsfeld, or better yet Dickhead Cheney. I'd like to feel sorry for you but instead I loath your position. I hope we never meet as I have no respect for you. End!

Religion has oft been an excuse for war. It is used because it helps get the masses on your side. Much easier to declare it a war of good against evil rather than admit the real aims.

Is this really the "end?" If so, you were entirely way too easy, my friend. You see, instead of refuting my "position," you have elected to just "cut and run." Typical of most liberals. Bah!

Hey, nice intelligent response there libbie. Too bad you're ending on such a sour note. Based upon your passion for your ideaology, I'm sure that you have some great ideas to share. The problem is, your ideas are all based upon the propaganda of the left, and that doesn't cut the mustard when exposed.

be reasonable vi, all political veiws are mutually inclusive with an ideaology, the ideaology of the right is extremely flimsy, but i supposed you've never questioned it have you? you believe the propaganda of those on the right as fact and ridicule the ideaology of those on the left, and round and round it goes, never getting anywhere

There is no left or right within the political system in our two countries, only shades of. When we talk of right and left within our own Governments it is worth pointing out that they are merely middle-left and middle-right.

There really is negligible difference between the two. To sit down on one side is foolhardy to say the least. I made this point quite early in this thread, it doesn't matter who you think should be in power because the reality is that they are all the same. You don't really get a say about who's really running the country. The elected party are merely a front, a face that you buy records from. The voting thing is just to make you feel better, make you feel in control. I take it you're a socialist BB. Well, I'm a realist, and I never vote.

Fact is, capitalism works. Socialism does not.

actually i dont vote either, this is mainly because of complete political deadlock within my country, all votes are seen as either orange or green, and i hate that bigoted crap. i suppose i have socialist leanings because after years of political study i find it more morally acceptable and more representitive of justice. i disagree that socialism doesn't work, it has done in many european countries

Kanada has the best way in how we pick our leaders (Prime Minister).......... every four years we have a dog sled race where the leaders of the different parties (NDP, PC, Libreals, Green Party, The Pothead Party, Bloc) have to take their dog sled and race days to GriseFiord, Nunavut; and the first one too cross the finish line is Prime Minister of Kanada for four (more-if he returning champ) years.

I'd like to see G.W. and Sadam duke it out. If the leaders had to do the fighting, there'd be no wars. I think G.W. could take Osama as he has nephritus, but I think Sadam would take G.W. and I wouldn,t want to live like pre-war Iraq. I think I could take ViRedd, got a couple a years on him and he has some kind of disease. That would certainly be the epitome of stupidity. All wars are immoral, no matter the cause!
