Topping auto's.........Any tails to share

well sinnce i started this i will add on

with autos how do u time the flushing right so u cut at the right time .............plant one is at 46 cms i see one amber hair in the bud the rest white as the hair in the beard (yes 34 and have a white beard stress) there is maybe 10 grams of bud since it was my frist one and well i messed up ......but i still want it to taste better then this one guys stuff (bragging right)

thats great info for a regular plant but we are talking about autos jeff and that pinching off some of the new groth method is refered to as fim. "f@@@ i missed" these plants are on a natral timer in this case more light means bigger buds...not more veg time in a earlier. post on page one u compared lst to topping how can u compare the two when one is a safe alteratve to the other....hence low stress training..what im pretty much saying. is can u explain. why topping if better then lst? why the plant wouldnt. be in shock from topping it? and also why hacking it up would be a good thing to do when these plants are on a specific time frame? do these type of plants nt require any recovery time after getting their head cut off?u seem to think u know what ur talking about plz enlighten us jeffdogg!

topping my autos only set them back 1 day... not much in the grand scheme of 80+ days. Topping must be done before preflowers as to not stress the budmaking process.
30 day old plant about 2 weeks since topped.

the "natural timer" can be delayed with stress it's still vegging just takes longer to flower
the plant doesnt just fall over and die one day its still has to run full term

and i use lst in conjunction with topping

its stops producing this chemical when injured and trys to repair itself

I topped a kush 2.0 auto and it did fine. Got almost 1oz and grew it under 200watt cfl.

the fans leaves yellow then roughly 2 weeks later the water leaves start losing color its usually done at this point

here is the best idea i got .................both of u get a sack of something and u toke off last man able to talk and move to get food wins

the whole bag head to head u can quit anytime but u are the loser and hence the beer bitch for a month

If anyone can help bust that myth its gonna be him. However in the state he lives in just had some sort of power plant explosion. Kinda got me worried buddy hasn't been on yet today, but he usually comes on later in the day. He'll for sure check out what we are saying here

I just started lurking the Auto threads. I recieved several auto ceeds in the past two SOS orders.
I have been thinking about running one in my veg tent. I have a perpetual grow, so there's always room in the veg tent for an extra plant or two.
I was just going to throw it in there with everything else on 18/6, and just never put it in the flower room.
Now after reading this, I am going to run two of them. I'll do a one time topping on one, and straight up the other.

I think some of those SOS freebies I got in the promo, also came in this recent order I got today. If I have two ceeds of the same strain, I'll run them and see how they yield, side by side.
I'll have to mix my spectrum in the tent, to add some more reds and yellows, (I have a 6 bulb T5 in there) but it shouldn't slow down the vegging regular plants I have going too much. I flower with a mixed spectrum anyhow, usually just a lot less blue/white
The lighting wont matter as much, since the experiment parameters will be the same for both plants.
Anyhow, I'll germ them tonight, and get them going.
