vape pen opinions please

However, the Vaped pen is not good for the use I originally had in mind; to be able to take it with me on a night out and not to have to refill while out. I go to a lot of concerts and I usually smoke a few joints at the concert (unless it Carnegie Hall or something, then I eat one of my homemade canna-caramels). In in the past year or so, I have almost gotten tossed out for smoking a few times. Here in NYC, it seems like a lot less people smoke weed at concerts these days. Considering that I mostly go to jam band shows, I am really puzzled by the change. (Young people today!) A few years ago, I almost never had an issue as long as I was discrete. Anyway, I'm looking for a pen that I can fill with enough oil to be the equivalent of 1-3 potent joints.

I guess I need to buy one of those canister vape pens, but which one? There are so many! Any advice?
For that usage I recommend the DabR pen. You won't get as big of a hit or as good of a taste, but it does offer a decent puff and complete discretion. People a foot away from you will not know you're hitting it. You can stand in a crowd and puff and people won't turn around.

That is simular to the Cloud Vapez pen that I have. Only complaint is that the button gets stuck in the on position once it gets a little grime on it. Other than that it's an okay unit.

Yes. It's just like the Cloud pen except the DabR can hold more wax. Other than the slightly longer cartridge it's identical.

I returned my dabr after opening it. The mouthpiece / cartridge didn't sit securely. It's held on by pressure so I figured it would get worse after time. Also they use a unique battery so your married to that company.

The 710 pen works pretty good but it's a small skillet. The ruvaped glass dome is the best. You can clearly see that you do not need to hold down the power button the whole time. Vape still forms hard after you release the button.

The various other one based on ecigs should all be avoided. I know ideally you want to load up a pen for the day but that's just not how a good pen works. Ive had a pen break the day I got it with a bunch of wax trapped in it. If you use quality bho it should feel like dense caramel. Break off a few dabs and ball them up. When you run out you can jam in another easily even in a dim lit situation.

It could've been a bad batch couple months ago but it looked like every pen we opened up was defective. The display unit was the older model so it locked in different. I think they are on their 3rd revision. The globe is on its 2nd with the first globe being much larger. Dabr is a small descrete unit but I rather have the larger heating element. Only downside of the globe is that if you drop it, it will break. All my friends including myself have bought a replacement globe.

Here's the problem. All these pens are all coming from the same places. All these brands are just OEM marketing. All the companies order them from the same factory. All the batteries are the same. Order 10k of them and they'll custom print whatever the hell you want on them for a brand name. The only difference is the different companies mix and match different cartridges with different batteries. Only problem is these factories are likely total shit holes. One person on the assembly line has a bad day and we all get bad pens just cause some dude in China went to work hungover or some shit.

So all these things are going to be a crapshoot to some extent.

And yes, whether you go with a cloud/dabR style pen or a got vaped dome pen depends on your usage. For going out in public the micro pen vap style is better. For keeping at your house the ruvaped dome pens are way better.

The next generation of vaporizer pens is going to be really fucking cool. They've got a lot worked out. They all have battery meters like the 710 pens, and they are adjustable wattage so you can set it to heat at just the right temp to get the best hit every time. That's going to make such a huge difference.

The cool thing about all these OEM companies, is you can see all the tech before the US companies even start to sell them here.

Here are those new batteries. I'd bet in a few months most of the vaporizer companies start selling them here.

And yes, the battery for the vaporizer pen we pay $100 for does in fact only cost these companies $3. Nice markup. lol

Here's the micro G-pen two pen set.

$7 per unit if you order 5k + will put whatever brand name you want on them. You can even get them to switch out the cartridge to make eclipse, dabR, or clounds vaps. Pretty cool right? (well except for the part where we get charged $100 for something they pay $7 for)

Great observation, I was actually going to point this out myself until I reached your post. There are so many threads out there bitching about these vape pens like the cloud, stok, g-pen, Atmos.... I'm really surprised nobody has pointed this out yet . If you look around, every well known pen has a trailer park full of relatives originating from the same factory in china. Personally I think all these vape pens are ok, I have tried most and find I like the Davinci better. It's not as small about the size of a smart phone.still way better quality,battery,hits,... plus it comes dual stock meaning both raw and oils out the box. Their New one the Ascent Portable Vaporizers just came out and I'm all over it. It's glass on glass smaller more efficient and comes in gator skin.
