I would like to know every thing i can about blue dream, what grow techniques it responds well to and more importantly what its finish month grown outside in the ground is...
I've ran the clone for about three years now. It's a staple in the garden. The plant gets massive, I haven't found it to be a heavy eater, and it develops that sweet blue smell and a slight blue tinge in the end product. Outdoor finish time: just from what I've seen indoors you're prob looking at the end of October. BD needs a little extra time. Here's my cut

Thanks bro, and the pics represent nothing really out of the ordinary. Standard results from an amazing strain, and no different than anyone else's results whose grown it proper;). It's one of the most glistening, frostiest, unique strains I've grown to date. The high is a little racy for me personally, but my lady loves it in the mornings.

Definitely agree. BD is an excellent "go-to" strain. Everyone loves to smoke it. And, last week of October is usually when I see it getting pulled, depending on your latitude, of course. It is an extremely sturdy, resilient plant and can be taken down even a little later than that, if the grower wants to develop more intense colors and aromas.

EDIT: This strain doesn't necessarily need heavy feeding to develop fantastic buds, but it can handle pretty heavy doses of nutrients, especially during flowering. It just depends on the resources you have and the type of plants you want to grow; this is a very versatile strain.

are there any phenos? Or is it mainly a sativa growth plant?

I haven't ever encountered and plants that I could consider different phenos. They nearly invariably have asymmetrical, sativa-dominant hybrid style growth. The leaves often tend to stay smaller but very numerous when grown in drier climates, to which it is very well adapted. However, this plant is extremely responsive to any type of training, pruning, supplement/feeding, and etc you might want to use to experiment with getting different "types" of BD.

I topped all of mine and the growth jus don't stop. and I would agree with the mega head high, better then cup of coffee in the morning. all with thin leaves and decent outdoor flowering time but deffiently a sativa. would cross the BD with many other strains jus to see how the would each turn out. we had little no no problems with them outside, no bugs or mold and all turned out great for being put out somewhat late.

For those of you that have cloned Blue Dream what was your approximate yield on it in grams outdoors? how long was it vegged...

Put my BD plants in the ground around the 10th of May and they've started flowering. On the solstice, I only get 14 hours of sunlight. They seem to be doing ok though. It was my first grow, so live and learn. Gonna try to get some cuttings off of them or maybe leave some for seed. Idk.

Same here. My blue dreams are going off as well. but my molokai frost is still vegging like a champ. Started them both same time

Maybe I can try the Molokai Frost next year. I'm hoping to find something that won't flower so easily. Any other suggestions?

I ended up getting some bd outdoor bud and got some seeds out of it, had them germ for one week and been two weeks in soil and they are taking forever to get big under a t5 with grow bulbs. Do they do better from seed when they are in a high humidity setting like under a dome? I plan on choosing the best looking one and making it a mother and then budding the rest inside. I will clone her out for next summer. Good advise on here and will let you know what kinda yields I get
