I actually do it both ways to see how good I can water. Some have holes in the bottom others have none. Yes Fumble is real good folks. I use different colored ones last year they averaged a 8 oz dry. Going to try a 30 gallon rubbermaid this year besides the in the ground plants. I think I can get a pound dry with the grandmaster. I do nothing to the sides of the containers. I'm getting sun now from 630 am until about 730 pm right now give a half hour each way for dusk. I think by watering them twice a day they avoid getting to hot. keepem green dirrtyd

I think watering twice a day would prolli keep em from reaching tooo high off temp. that's always my concern with containers. mostly cuz I like to guerilla grow too so I know how fast they can dry up and devastate the plant real quickly. but sounds like u have the time and means to do everything properly ;) Happily still following. keep em growing! _Tycoon

Thanks to all who are subbed things are looking good so far. Will need me a couple of cloudy days here in the next two weeks. Then it will be time to harden off and transplant to final homes. Then I'm going to mix another batch to topdress with. keepem green

Hey dirty...nor cal here as well. Do you have any issues putting things out this early and having them start flowering? Last year I kept my clones under T-5's until they were good and rooted and put them out mid/late May...and the suckers all started flowering, didn't start revegging til after the summer solstice

As long as I put them out on the waxing moon I dont have issues at all here in the Bay Area. My buddy up by Yosemite the same thing no issues. keepem green dirrtyd

It hasnt done me wrong for sure. I also fish by the moon sometimes I think should have been born in Alaska. I hope its helps some better understand growing. Will find some other things I have collected over the years. Going to spray the yard one more time before I put the gurls out. Then going to give them a good spray. Looks like the weather will work out perfect for my climate. keepem green

Hey dirty, things sound great for this year! I'm pulling up my chair and ready to learn

I just put a Romulan clone in the ground last Saturday. Still sexing seedlings but it looks like I'm going to have bad luck with males :(

Seedlings I generally sex them at the ninth node. Thanks for coming through Brandon and Fumble. I can't wait to look at these roots when I transplant. Then I'm going to trim the lower nodes. keepem green
