The Boss Hogg breeding project started in 2011. Dinachem wasn't even public knowledge until late 2012. Dinachem and Humboldt Seeds Chemdawg are the same plant in the picture, but have different genetics according to the descriptions. Dinafem are full of shit, I don't care how stable their genetics are.
i noticed that HSO has a couple of other pics/chunks of strain descriptions that are in use by other companies. the lemon thai kush or whatever its called had some of the same info as dinafem's industrial plant. this doesnt appear to be dinafems fault. more like HSO looking bad.

u also failed to re-post my entire post, so not sure if u read it all either. i just couldnt help but notice that tcc drops a similar product right when swerve is barking at me about dinafem. sry to upset u swerve fans, however i doubt dinafem is full of shit.

Im waiting for a couple dinachem clones to root. the mother has been very easy to take care of. so far the plant has a fuel/skunky smell too. it grows with a bit more indica structure than a clone chemdawg i have. sry no pics atm.

Here ya go, topped, trained, bent, supercropped, twisted and messed with in every way possible I can think of. Cali Connects Boss Hogg 2.5/3 weeks in.... 100% vegan organics. Cal Mag issue during stretch, I know........... dont have to point it out. I have wanted to take off that big fan leaf for so long but know its still useful to the plant so I leave it. Just looks ugly and is a reminder that next time to 2x the cal/mag during stretch, first time growing this strain. BTY- the buds on this Boss Hogg are 1/2 of the size as my Double Sour Kush Bx from Cannaventure.

yeah i literally had about 7-8 different people in the past week(in person, not online. i talk to quite a few growers in MI) tell me they are EXTREMELY dissapointed with Cali Connection. You cant sit there and tell me its not Swerve's/TCC's fault too. Tahoe OG especially. terrible yields, hard to grow/clone, HERMIES, HERMIES, HERMIES. the trail of crap from swerves rear end just never ends. lies on camera and in forums, terrible customer relations, uses other people pictures for his ads.... etc.

im not supirised the Boss Hogg isnt turning out to be all it was cracked up to be.

I havent flowered any dinachem yet, but it has great node spacing, fast vigorous growth, and a great aroma coming from the plant already in veg.

see why I started this thread? swerve talks big time crap about dinachem, but cant get his own similar strain right. awards for seed companies should be based off of more than just some samples that the breeders bring to the cups. and just about NONE of those big strains he's making all that money off of were truly bred by him. only the hybrids like deadhead, which uses two strains that swerve acts like only HE can have, but he didnt breed. he only worked them, and badly at that. not everyone else OGK's and Chem's are hermie-city and super bad growing. and not everyone else seeds are a hundred something a pack either.
shame on you swerve.

This is my first time with Cali Connect and I know the history as I am on here almost everyday. Around 3 weeks into flowering with the Boss and I never said I was disappointed or made any comment leaning one way or another from what I remember, waiting 5 more weeks to make my own opinion about them and this is a make it break it time for me with "the connection". Unbiased, straight up truth- I will be honest about how it turns out and not "ride Swerves nutts", lol. I can say up to this point I haven't had any real issues running Vegan Organics with it other than a lil Cal/Mag. About as far across the country from California as you can get so I have no loyalty or friendship with them and can give a true report on it at the end without being worried about pissing off a friend. I will keep it real for everyone else curious about this strain.

Right on. thats cool.

Just want to add that Swerve was never on my bad side untill he "got on MY nuts" and I found out what kind of business he's running with TCC. otherwise id be saying nearly the same thing as you. i used to want some of his strains in the beginning, but everything combined turned me away thankfully.

I just think its funny how ive been telling people as often as i can about swerve's bullcrap, and faster than i can spread the word i get people coming to me asking for help, wondering why their TCC strains suck. i mean u cant beat real life in-person testimony and evidence.

either way tho... i sure hope that BH turns out some good loud smoke. i suppose thats part of the point with that one! :) and i did get a kick out of the strain name. thats pretty creative. yee-hah! i got a lil TN in me my damn self!
.
I just put two dinachem clones into solo cups with roots organics potting mix last night. out of about 5-6 strains recently the dinachem was BY FAR the easiest to clone, giant roots and fast growth. only thing is that they ate up all the nutes WAY faster than the other strains. its certainly a heavy feeder so far. the true test from this point is to see how well it flowers and smokes in the end.
good points upstate! i feel ya!

Hi everyone, I just recently joined this site. I used to grow many years ago in the 1980's and 1990's but since I got married in I stopped for almost 15 years. I live in Northern Colorado and since the recent law changes, I have convinced my wife to accept growing. I recieved 2 free Boss Hogg seeds in December from the Christmas Bash at Attitude. This was my first time ordering seeds or discussing growing online. Times have changed! I have them both in bloom now at 15 days and they look pretty damn good! They streched a bit between day 7-10, so they started to look like they might herm, but the strech stopped quickly and they really started to form buds now. They are swelling fast at this early stage. I am checking daily for nanners. In my experience, they like to form under already formed female buds around day 20-30. (have had a few herm on me in the past) I will get out the camera today and upload some pics. I have several other strains in the bloom room I will show everyone, so you will see I'm no rookie. I have a supercropped White Rhino 5 weeks in that looks amazing! Be back soon with pics when lights come on.

Here you go, I apologize if pics aren't great. The first 4 pics are Boss Hogg, the others are a White Rhino, 5 weeks in bloomP1010296.jpgP1010293.jpgP1010283.jpgP1010281.jpgP1010282.jpgP1010300.jpgP1010287.jpgP1010298.jpg

There is also 1 Jack diesel 1 wk in, 2 THC Bomb 1 wk in, 1 CH9 vintage 2006 1 wk in and 2 Boss Hoggs 2 wks. in. The Boss Hoggs only vegged 4 weeks. They did have a magnesium prob about 2-3 weeks in veg. I watered with a tsp. per gal of epsom salt once at 3 weeks and again yesterday at 6 wks aand that cleared up the yellow streaks. I am growing in soil mix that I make so I use 1/2 tsp of bone meal scratched into the soil before I put all plants into bloom to increase the Phosphorus and calcium level.I dont use alot of nutes, so the smallest pots I grow in are 5 gal. Most are 8-10 gal pots. That white rhino is so fat, it's all roots in a 5 gal pot and needs water every 36 hours or so. It is so top heavy! The canopy is over 30 in. wide and full of 2-3 in. nugs. I expect 4-6 onces from that one.
The Boss Hoggs look like there setting up to stack some nice colas. Hope they fill in that internode gap with nugs.

Not one boss Hogg pic tho ??

Y'all made me read 5 pages of nothing ..not even a drop of info

I agree this thread sucks..1 star lol
Jkjk

But in all reality is like to see some pics ..it's been the freebie forever ...also I seem someone say this is chem 4 f2 ? How is that possible ? This has to be a incross or backcross ..
If I do not get lazy I have one healthy female in flower atm. It is almost in its 5th week of flower. Like Swerve said it is a hogg when it feeds. Out of all the strains I have in flower atm in the stink department comes Boss Hogg first then extemas then the koshers.

Thanks. I can't believe how growing has changed in 15 years. I'm on my second one now and I am using all fluoros, (T5's and CFl's) I also have a veg tent and mother tent, all running on fluoros. You used to have to get an occasional bag seed or get cuttings from friends. I'm on my first time trying several strains that I ordered from the Attitude. Oh the wonders of the internet! I am so excited about the THC Bomb I ordered too. We'll see how they come out in about 8 weeks. Thanks for the welcome greeting.

Just got done watering and had something catch my eye while looking over the Boss Hog, something yellow on the inside of a top bud. So I open the bud up, fucking male flower that looks like it opened on me. FUCK! Didnt notice it b/c it was on the inside of the bud. Thanks Swerve! Fucking great! Eyeballed the whole fucking plant and found some immature male flowers and plucked them. FUCK! Gotta have spread some pollen, it had to..................... fuck!

One of my two busted a calyx with pistils at 3 1/2 weeks while still in veg. ( I took one cutting incase I liked it) The other one didn't show until it had been in 12/12 for about a week. They were started at the same time, but one was almost 2 weeks later showing sex. They are looking very good and the slow one has caught up in bud production. They look like they are going to be pretty good yielders the way they are filling in. If these plants finish well, with no hermies, I am going to Mother that one cutting I took.
It smells great, looks great, and if it's lineage is correct, it should be a serious keeper!
The cutting took in ten days and it is making leaf sets so I got one for later!
