Is there anything you can do with bad ISO hash?

Basically I bought an ounce of black-ish ISO hash, which is very potent, at worst, about half as potent as the best bho I've had, but the taste is absolutely terrible, I get greensick everytime, I've taken a hit of it when I place a little on top of a bowl, I tried vaping some and got greensick on the first VAPE hit (it was quite nasty), plus, I bought an entire oil setup before I met the guy for this stuff, assuming it would be yellow, good bho, but he told me about it being ISO hash when he was selling it to me in person, and I didn't really know better.

Its potent stuff, and I get really medicated off of it, but its very nasty tasting and fairly low-quality. Plus I get puke everytime I smoke it.

So I'm wondering now, what do I do with 20 grams of ISO hash oil, that I can't smoke?

I put 4 grams of it into 1 batch of brownies, and those brownies kicked everyone's ass. I kind of got greensick, and my cousin definitely did too. I only ate half a brownie and my head was spinning around- way too high.

So they make great brownies, but I basically want to try to convert this stuff in some way, or at least refine it. I have bubble bags, dry ice, and ISO alcohol, I was wondering if there is a way to improve this stuff so that I can dab it, and not be disgusted?
 
When dissolved in alcohol, this stuff turns pretty yellow, doesn't that mean there's hardly any chlorophyll in it? Is there any way for me to buy a BHO setup and turn all this oil into BHO?

try to grind it down as much as possible, like powdery if you can, let it dry and crumble it up, take a mason jar and with the lid that comes with it poke 3 holes, all of about equivalant size, the middle hole should fit the tip attachment of a butane canister, put the lid on an empty jar and start sparying your tane into it, it helps to put the butane in the freezer over night to help it turn to liquid faster, now the other two holes you punched/drilled are there for the purpose of releasing excess gas pressure, and wear and oven mit, your jar will turn frosty and get cold as hell. continue sparying into this empty jar until its about 1/4 full of liquid tane, now uncap, dump in said shitty iso hash that youve prepped before hand by breaking it down, swirl it around for a min then take the original lid ring, and 2 coffee filters and cap the jar using the ring to screw on and hold filters in place, dump the liquid outta the jar through the filters and into a pyrex dish. the rest of the pocess is the same as a normal bho run from there.

maybe this will help you improve your product, should work anyways

There are two main things that make ISO hash dark. Old material with amber and/or dark trichomes. IPA in contact with the cannabis too long. If I were you I would thin film purge this. If the maker doesn't know how to properly extract, do you think he knows how to properly purge? What is greensick? FYI-There are some schools of thought, mine included, to not use QWISO to ingest.

What color when smeared on a clean white sheet of paper?

I've never tried to re-extract a QWISO using butane, but I suspect that it would be hard to get it to redissolve, even using a thermos.

Yeah I figured that might be a difficulty. Its black, until you smear it or thin it up, it turns amber/yellow. Its potent, I'd probably say at least half as potent as the best BHO i've ever tried, but its impossible to get past the terrible taste.
 
Btw to who asked about what "greensick" is, its what happens with some people, when smoking weed to different degrees. If I take an extremely fat bong rip, I cough and cough, and then puke, just once, and in the moment. I kind of figure I'm not getting all the smoke out in my exhales. But my cousin is the same way, but when he rips a joint. One puff and the MF will start puking lol. Half the people I tell about getting greensick have never even heard of it before strangely.

We've had a number of patients come in with green oil that was making them sick ingesting orally, and which had been extracted using alcohol reflux. The symptoms are abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting.

We've yet to have one vomiting from smoking, but it certainly does make a harsh smoke, and can induce intense coughing.

Damn I would hate to be puking everytime I smoked! Fadedawg is right, I only do qwiso its my preference and if you winterize it then do the hexane/saline wash it will be like new, amber and delicious
Just read fadedawgs new post, excess chorophyl will mess with your abdominals I've never heard of that happening from bud though
