Purposely herm a plant

So, hypothetically, if I wanted to turn a plant hermie, what would be the best way to go about that?
Basically, I have a great strain, but i picked it up as a clone. and I want to continue growing it, but I think I might have to postpone the growing of it for a few months, and I want seeds so I can start over at a later date.

I have NO experience with hermies at all, cause I don't fuck with my ladies all the time, or drunkenly drop shit on them (bmeat)
Also, if I understand correctly, a self pollinated wench gives off feminized seeds?

I know people here have a habit of taking their sweet ass time replying to threads, so no rush :p I should probably just search google for info. But I feel that info off google is all written by bmeat

thanks in advace

That definitely seems like a lot of work. But might be worth it.
So first option Colloidal Silver. sounds, complex.

In that post it said that the stronger ppm of making it yourself is what makes it work.
If I could get some for cheap enough I'd def give it a try. Should my local hydro shop carry it? It's 3am or I would just go find out lol

Buy some Kosher Kush from Reserva Privada and keep them in perfect conditions! *still bitter*

Serious suggestion - leave your light on for 15 mins in the middle of the dark cycle during flowering. Works every time for me (not that I wanted it to).

Would be better for you to turn that plant into a bonsai or make a clone of it.

Cuttings can last up to 2 months in the fridge.

Hermies and their offspring are evil (imo).

If I were you I would just make a clone and keep it under just enough light with just enough ventilation to keep it alive and in vegetative state.

this would for sure get the job done?
If I isolated it to only one branch, would only that branch herm, or the whole plant? I might take a clone just to turn it.
I like playing god :D
Would be the branch, but the seed genetics could be altered to the point that it you wouldn't really ever be able to cross any growth of those seeds with others and not potentially solidify the % of the herm trait.. which is quite evil, to say the very least...so if you wish to go that route, keep the seed for personal smoke only.

I have been running this same plant(not re-vegging, cloning) for like 6 cycles, taking clones off my flowering plants about 1.5-2 weeks in. Being able to flower more plants is not my concern, I can always get more cuttings.
I want seeds so I have a hard copy of the genetics for growing later. So I have something I can carry around with me when the world ends and grow the good shit.
I would be interested in making a plant herm so I can get seeds for later use. I am planning on moving and I won't be able to lug a mother plant around with me during the move, and there is gonna be like a 3 week period where I will be couch surfing, and I can't bring my pot plants with me, it's hard enough to convince people to let me bring my dog.

And so no one is worried about me ruining a whole crop, this will be done separate from the rest of my plants, as to lower my chances of fucking up all my women

Yup, that should be fine then, and make sure when you do the CS application that you isolate it to 1 or 2 branches near/at the bottom, and that you protect the rest of the plant from the application by making a makeshift barricade out of a paper plate... cut from the edge a paper plate to the center, and in the center, cut a big enough of a hole that the branch can sit in it without too much room to move, and wont cut into the stem itself, or otherwise choke it.

GA works just the same, agreed - homemade CS is really a major pain in the ass, is why I recommended buying it.. but posted method to make it himself should he wish to get more hands-on.

good on ya

me i simply do this

take a clone off the plant to be impregnated when first in flower , root it , as soon as its rooted hit it 3 times with ga3 , keeping it in the flower room but not in the sweet spot i allow it to get to the point its bursting its balls , its then removed and dropped into the veg room where it will continue to flower regardless

moms then bagged and taken to the ladyboy clone , a slit is made and a branch pulled through , ladyboy is then waved around in this branch until its had its wicked way , i then give it an hour then spray the bag with water and remove then bung the hussy back into the flower room

given an 8 weeker and the time it takes to root plus allow a little grow it works out perfect to have 4 weeks for the seeds to mature nicely , i also tend to do it twice ( on different plants over a couple of days ) to be assured but still tend to be knee deep in seeds at the end of it

It is hard to make a plant self.

You might be better spraying one clone and pollinating another with it.
Take two clones and make sure they are rooted well. Spray one of the clones (one branch or the whole thing) for about a week. Take the other clone out of the room and keep it on veg cycle (24/0, 20/4, 18/6).

Flip the sprayed clone to 12/12 and keep spraying it for about 10-14 days. Put the unsprayed plant back in the 12/12 area. stop spraying and wait. Then you can collect pollen sacks as they open and pollinate your self or just let it go and skeet all over every thing.

Let the seeded buds go longer to let the seeds get big and fat.

I have made thousands of feminized seeds. Not one of the seeds that was germinated was male or hermie and I am at about 99% germination rate.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Spraying a plant with CS does not make it a "hermie." It is a female plant that has been tricked into producing male flowers. All that "hermie" talk about feminized seeds is bullshit.

I found CS for as cheap as 10 bucks, might go that route.
I might try light pollution and stress her to herm, or pick up some GA.
Just have to do my own research now and figure out which method will work best for me.
Thanks everyone for all your input!
