My neighbor called the cops

Ive learned through the years at least one thing to be true and thats when you get a bad feeling you better believe it no matter what it is,whether it be about a bad vibe from someone or I shouldnt be getting into this car or whatever. If it was me and I wasnt sure and it was Me and my Freedom or My Plants? Id be getting rid of them losing some plants! You can grow new plants in a better place away from the Dick neighbor but you cant get what time you lost in jail back. I wish you the best.

No pretty much it's whining. Or sniveling. He knew this ahole neighbor so again (maybe because I'm 60+ and have grown since 1964) I ask "Why" when he knew this guy was an ahole who would roll on him? But I'm trying to help him out here. My old man raised me with the back of his hand and I went from home to the USMC so forgive me being brusque at times.
I respect my elders, and respect your opinion here (even if it still differs from mine). Maybe the difference is due to me being in the UK - we're such a nation of whingers that maybe the bar is set a little higher here. ;-)

So I have heard people saying that they can come back wit a warrant over smell, and some saying I can't, I just really want to know what thy can legally do. I am 100% legal as I have said before I just do t want to deal with them again. Could I go down to the police station with my med and get this all sorted out without them coming back

I went to a tech high school for 2 yrs that had k9 sweeps of all hallways and 2 random shop classes every week. Worked better than anything else I've seen. When I was in auto I hid my bud in the paint booth and when in culinary I hid it in the walk in freezer and so did our chef LOL

The advice to contact and seek advice from a solicitor that Michelin man gave is good advice in my opinion. We have citizens advice bureaus in UK for free legal advice, is there something similar in the US?

I'm sure that genuine legal advice is the only thing that will put your mind at ease (or not - but at least you'd know and be able to take action).

Best bet is check your local laws meaning town by laws... My town is already manipulating zoning laws to ban it in town all together. The prob is alot of "small" issues can be made big by tricky town laws. The school zone thing could be iffy. I would use a dummy email and just email the town clerks office in regards to the zoning etc

If anybody knows of anything like this or anywhere I can call for legal advice other than a lawyer in California it would be greatly appreciated

cops can use smell as proper cause. also being near a school is just a fine. just show the proper legal medical paperwork. if they arrest you or fine you.
or take your meds away. you can take them to court.

Xerox a copy of your permit and laminate it. Tape in window by the door like a building permit. If they do show up atleast they see your legal b4 you even answer the door. Could prevent a storm and cut

So my neighbor complaining about smell is probable cause for a warrant? Now I think i Should just go down to the police station cause I know I'm legal I just dont want to have to sit at home knowing that they could come back with a warrant at any time, is much rather get it over with now but again would more rather than that just tell them I'll control the smell and hopefully they wont come with a warrant

Dude - don't get me wrong here. If you're legal then you're legal and I would let them in. Like it or not. But if not then get your number down or whatever. Just saying.
