yoyo guys ill be posting updates and pics at least weekly to update my progress and seek advice while providing information and inspiration to other growers and enthusiasts.

this is my 2nd time growing. i prevousily had a 250 hps light in the same closet but had to stop and sell the light due to finical issues i had to move my plants outside (see bottom) but now i am back on the scene with a slightly less powerful light but more knowledge. :)

i just order a via-volt 150 watt hps online from home depot and it should be here in about 6 days. i already have the closet setup and the nutrients ready and i will be getting some fresh healthy clones from my local dispensary once the light arrives.

ALSO

i am doing an outdoor grow with 5 plants near the freeway directly behind my apartment. They are spread out and have been out for 2 weeks during the month of feburary(12/12 lighting) so i might also be posting ppics of those or maybe start a new thread, if they actually harvest, im going to call them freeway kush :0

I am interested and will be following along. I just started a 150w grow as well. Hopefully we can share info if need be.

Never thought about it that way, but grow equipment is like money in the bank when you're short on funds.

Freeway kush? Nothing like a little smog to add flava. Good luck dude. Keep us posted.

I've always recomended 150's over 250's for various reasons. The foremost reason is 150's are standard outdoor lighting and readily available. I'd do two 150's anyday over one 250w. Next up 400w. HID

Luv my 400, but she runs hot. cool tube and inline fan keeps the room a nice 78 degrees. I use a mh for veg and hps for flower. Plants stay nice and tight with no stretch. The 400 gives you the penetration through all the leaves to the bottom.
