Cause this is the 21st century so we can not call him 'village' idiot cause hardly anyone lives in a village anymore (ok, poor attempt at humor... but still what came to mind when reading that).

watch out cause the mercury temp gauge in the room may cause heavy metal poisoning.
It's a shame to say, but I even know somebody that didn't know how to read a second hand watch.
He was 20 something, and only knew digital.

i never had much luck with clones in soil. mb a 30% success rate, idk. aerocloners however were about 99% successful. my only advice is to plant more than one in soil to allow for attrition. cux not all will root. another thing. plant's make their own hormone. i stopped using the hormone after i read it wasn't necessary.

[h=1]Mosaic Viruses

[/h]What are mosaic viruses? This virus infects more than 150 types of plants, including many fruits, vegetables, and flowers. It is characterized by leaves mottled with yellow, white, and light and dark green spots or streaks. Some of the most commonly infected plants include tomatoes, potatoes, squash, and cucumbers.
[h=2]How to Identify Mosaic Viruses[/h]Viral diseases are difficult to identify because symptoms vary from plant to plant and may also vary depending on the age of the plant and its growing conditions. However, the most common ways of identifying mosaic viruses are listed below.
· The leaves are mottled with yellow, white, and light and dark green spots, which appear to be elevated. This gives the leaves a blister-like appearance.
· Plants are often stunted, or they grow poorly.
· Plants may have other deformities and their leaves may be crinkled or wavy.
[h=2]How to Control Mosaic Viruses[/h]Once plants are infected, there are no controls. Remove all the infected plants and destroy them.
[h=2]Prevention[/h]· Plant resistant plants when available in your garden.
· Mosaic viruses are mostly spread by insects, especially aphids and leafhoppers. You can try covering your plants with a floating row cover or aluminum foil mulches to prevent these insects from infecting your plants.
· Control your weeds. Some types may serve as hosts for the disease.

And people should NEVER accept something they read on a forum as truth. They should check and double check to make sure it is true.

To do otherwise is naive.
That's some truth tight there. This site has some great people but at times is the epitome of webtardness.

This is my method shown with broken stem found on plant. Clean stem as usual leaving 3 node it is food.
I smear a couple drops clonex not always but she was floppy. Saturated cube in cloner runoff using stem poke your own hole down to 3 node. Cloner is a tray on a slope 4' from light splash 1-3 (2)times daily about tablespoon. No dome, mist, nutes, cloner, that 3rd leaf is its life support I've held cold clones no roots for months. If above 65-70 I check 7 days later opening cube this one had bumps last night roots today always does it after I open them. Wire cube back up continue splashing water next week nutes and plant. Another broken branch thrown in water gettin Donner style.

i use a heat mat with my clones and i get about a 95% success rate and see roots from 6-9 days and take them out of the dome at day 12 if they havent rooted by then tuff it will die

Might have been 9 but you'll see that most will live and produce. I thought at cutting two would die for sure only one so far. That 3 leaf is neat to see you can end up with a nice branch.Going to start thread but didn't think you'd care if I posted. La con midget 8 weeks.
