Cannabis Cup 2013 Denver, CO

So the first ever Cannabis Cup is being held in the US...and literally any adult over 21 can attend/smoke/be a judge at the event. I literally just signed a lease for an apartment near Denver and I, for one, am super stoked. Any thoughts on how this event is gonna be awesome/suck?

I got my tickets,plane tickets,and hotel already. im ready to get tore up. My dang hotel is 20 miles away but I can take or share a cab. I hope I dont have trouble getting herb while there but my hotel has a bar lol.

How could it suck, let me count the ways.Since it is The 1st lets hope the HT guys keep it much more party than expo.As time goes by I expect it to become more and more commercial,thats the American way.Sniffer dogs working over time at the airport in Denver and the city U fly to.Cops in nearby counties and states manning traffic stops to hassle tokers.Even if the law has changed,the tude of most cops has not,they are laying awake at night thinking up ways to kill your buzz.Attendees should consider leaving the Cup in clothes that reek of Ganj. and give the cops and dogs a busy work day.

I was wondering if anybody going to the cup was staying about 20 miles from the Exdo center and wanted to share a cab or If anybody knows what a cab might cost to get there??

lol 20 miles in a cab might be pricey not sure.

I'm going to the event with about 3 others. We are staying out side the city got a cabin, so driving will suck but we'll prolly park a bit away so we don't look like we are leaving right from the event.

20 miles if far from denver? you may have a problem with traffic as well depending on what time you head out! did they not have affordable hotels closer than that? I paid 84 a night and i am 2 miles or less away! nice hotel super discounted

I already have hotel through travel agent and tix to event. Im using a diffarent agent next time. Maybe someone at hotel is going,if not Ill make due i guess.
