Any TGA nerds out there in MI?

I haven't been impressed with tga either. Looks dank, smokes like complete shit. Def bottom shelf quality around here. I guess were just about the best of the best lol. Im currently fuckin with kosher kush, holy grail kush, liberty haze an skywalker og. Just planted the beans 3 days ago. So well see how it goes. Gunna germ my last fat purp seed an start "her" hopefully. What's the word on mi based strains? I'm looking for something fuckin potent. I'm tired of fuckin around on the Internet searching for that one pheno when seeds are 10-100$ a piece.

Sounds like someone needs to learn how to grow!!! TGA bottom shelf. yeah OK only reason TGA would be bottom shelf is if they were hinding it so people would buy other stuff.

I grew subcool before almost all of you were on this forum, and before most people knew who the heck he was. But I sure as fuck ain't no Subcool fanboy.

I'll clear this up for people who don't know who to believe about whether TGA is crap or great.

Some of his strains have top notch phenos that are potent, and some others are weak and have nothing but smell and taste. If you don't have the space or desire to do some pheno hunting through poly hybrids then don't buy TGA. Or any other breeder's poly hybrids for that matter.

ive grown almost all of tga's stuff and i love every single one! amazing hash making strains, i was bummed to find out they werent a michigan company like i thought. not sure why i did really hah. only one i had problems with was Jillybean, but she was also the only clone that was grown instead of seed. id have to pick Apollo 13, Jacks Cleaner and Ace of Spades as my favorites though.

Thats it too, mushead-his plants are for his purposes and style. grown in supersoil and used to make bubble hash they are pretty good. I must admit the hash its good. The roots are stupid huge on the plants compared to other breeders strains. He is selective to his style I'm sure. big-ass pots with supersoil isn't my way and I don't often make bubble hash so I am not that fond of his strains-I have 2 right now that are not yeilding anywhere near what I get from my nirvana strains collectively on average. He has great bag appeal as they are frosty (the hash thing) but they are pretty bland and the high isn't that great even if it does test at 17%THC. My people like it, I do not. I grow it for them and keep ice and acid around for me. Chernobyl is not going to be a producer I can see that now and this is a cut of "some good chernobyl". Maybe the head will make up for it-who knows.

I go ahead and give them a shelf that is not all the way on the bottom. But TGA does not even begin to compete with top shelf! Not even a little. I grow just fine and have no interest in growing any more TGA crap.

Just pulled another 2 males of blackwater ...which is tga. I believe? Lot of variation in the remaining females ..all have huge stalks and need 5 more weeks....I do have a real nice jtr. That I really like so far ..believe. that is tga jtr as well...

E$cob@r seeds suck, bottom shelf, waste of space and time I will never grow them. potoncy is really low, the taste was horible takested like the fertlizer it was grown in. A bag seed from mexican brick weed is better than this Joke.

I also hope you are wrong brother, as I am running some of E$co's gear currently. As a long time "Breeders Choice" breeder over at Sannie's I have yet to find others with such criticism of his work. That said, you'll find his test beans/strains as freebies often, is that the genetics you are referring to here?

As for E$co's on market genetics: CheeseBerry, Chocolate Rain, Chuckies Bride and Holy Princess. I have only heard great things ...

What are you looking at dropping Corso?

When I first started growing in Feb. last year i found this website while googling for answers. I also found the weed nerd. I have a ton of respect for Sub and his crew (TGA) for all the work they have done for the cannabis community. I cant imagine how many people he has helped. I know his methods helped me. (along with nugs mainling). And that is part of the reason i respect him. All the info he shares. It truly seems like he wants to help the common person become a expert gardener/ hash maker. Dont quote me on this, but i think he helped to push the movement forward, and take it out of the dark. Genetics aside.

All true brother, but he's not alone. There are many better breeders training others online along with better Canna YouTube artists. TGA is really a group of folks that deserve respect. Personally I know that Sub has integrity issues and have moved on like so many others after being burnt. Get what you can bro, but beware. Never use that man as a singular source of info, as he is often more confident than correct. Just check out all those threads he simply labels as "haters" and never responds to. Where there is that much smoke, there is bound to be a lot of fire :fire:
