Hey all,

can anyone please tell me if this is a NUTE BURN or Calcium/Potassium Deficiency? Kinda lost right now.

Specs

- CFL + LED lighting @ 250 watts
- Grown in soil/perlite mix
- Average Temp: 75-80
- Average pH level: 6.5
- 24 hour lighting
- Vegetation stage @ week 3
- A clone to its mother (currently flowering without these symptoms)
- Nutrients: Fox Farm Trio following week 3 of the Fox Farm Feeding Schedule @ 1/2 the recommended strength (Big Bloom and Grow Big, both at 1/2 strength)

So please help me out by pointing out what the problem is!

Thanks!

Looks like a calcium and magnesium deficiency. Are you using r/o water? If so you will need to supplement with cal/mag. FF nutes do not contain much of either. There was a day when Big Bloom had enough. But these days its watered down and a waste of money IMO. Your better off brewing your own ewc tea. Next grow be sure to include dolomite lime and ewc in your medium mix and you wont have to worry about cal or mag deficiencies or adding cal/mag.......

Thanks for the quick reply! Im just using regular tap water adjusted to pH 6.5.

As for 'ewc', what exactly is that? I'm actually in the middle of doing a transplant as I write this... maybe I can put some cal/mag in but where i live (asia) they don't have the specifics of buying cal/mag alone. I've tried using egg shells and tomato granular nutrient pellets but they dont seem to work as well. But as long as I know its not a Nute Burn, then I can give it a stronger shot.

Thanks again!

deficiencies of all the above (mainly P and K). normally when you see a problem like this, it stems from soil or medium staying wet for too long or a plant that's on a very low diet.

I have noticed that this plant is more wet than my other plants, but i've used perlite in the soil mix... any tips on how to reduce the wetness moisture level of the soil?

magnesium deficient.
potassium deficient.
phosphrous deficient.
nute burn.
So whats going on? Getting so many mixed reviews here... Im a newbie and they are my first clones off my first plant so I've never experienced these types of symptoms before... If i treat it as a deficiency, then i'll be adding nutes and burn it even more but if i treat it as a nute burn and just water it out but turns out its a deficiency, then im also fucked... is there absolutely anymore information i can give you guys for a better read and analysis of the current conditions? Let me know! Thanks!!

Adding some new pics...

Notice that some of the leaves are curling downwards or 'clawing' and the browning of the leaves are starting from the edges and working their way inwards.

Some new leaves are also getting some brown 'spots'

That's definitely cal-mag deficiencies. What's your ph at? The plant is removing leaves and growing slowly it is from an immobile nutrients. Get your ph in check and make sure ur ppms are between 200-500 for veg. Otherwise your yield will be greatly diminished.
