It'd be easier to take you seriously if you utilized proper punctuation and grammar.

All of the "news" channels are bullshit. They're either right wing or left wing, nothing "fair and balanced" about 'em. What you have to do is read between the lines and make up your own mind.

If you ask me, the left has just as many "answers" as the right. Neither affiliation gels with my personal beliefs, I've NEVER voted for someone without having misgivings about them. That is the flaw in the Two Party System that this country has built for itself... there's no middle ground. At all.

So far, the right wing has done a good job of stealing my money ... giving it to people that don't need it. Michigan had a great program going, it was giving job training to people like me who are unemployed and can't afford to go to college. They deep-sixed that program in favor of bailing out people who can't handle their mortgage payments. I'm so disenfranchised by the whole thing... it pisses me off. People getting the aid live in houses that are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, whereas I go out every single day and apply for jobs that JUST AREN'T THERE. And this program... was designed and put into place by a DEMOCRAT (who I didn't vote for, by the way). Jennifer Granholm is a gigantic piece of shit.

Also, dunno if you've heard, but the mayor of Detroit has been bleeding the city dry, using public money to fund his liking for expensive goodies and nice vacations. He also wasted taxpayer money in a wholly embarassing scene involving a lawsuit, racy text messages and the unlawful firing of two police officers that wanted to go public with their knowladge of the mayor's (and his chief of staff's) escapes. And yes ... he's a DEMOCRAT.

I don't even know why I'm wasting my time with this ... as you obviously have no real brains to speak of.

If you were to put me into a political group, it'd be VERY LIBERAL. However, I don't EVER vote for someone just because they're running for a particular party. I look into what they stand for, what their policies and aspirations are, and their political history. I actually INVESTIGATE the people who're going to be making my decisions for me, and if I side with a person happens to be a Republican then so be it.

Let me know when your testicles drop and you're old enough to vote; maybe then you'll be able to understand all of these Grown Up-type things.

Take a big swig, Kool-aid that is. If you are a Fox fan, then Whoopee, you are hooked on the right wing swill. Us commies are trying to ruin the country and steal all your money, make jobs worth working and living easy. Damn were an evil bunch, steal your wallet right off your kitchen table..,Equal pay for women, are you kidding, those sluts don't deserve it. college for everyone that qualifies, hell no, let those poor people eat shit. We need more war for the weapons contractors and less taxes for the rich. Gee the right has all the answers, whoopeee, I love Fox.

So were you talking to me, you unemployed hypocrite? My testicles dropped a long time ago, in fact they're still dropping. Just because you can't find a job doesn't make you an expert on anything, especially my maturity. You can thank George Bush for the loss of 8,000,000 jobs and the terrible state of the economy, the 9 trillion dollar national debt, the 3-5 hundred thousand dead in Iraq, the 40,000+++ dead and wounded Americans and geeze, I'll bet you won't hear that on Fox News. I do get my info from an assortment of sources. I am intelligent enough to know when the bullshit is deepest though and for that award, Fox wins hands down.

And CNN doesn't provide us with an equal amount of bullshit? It doesn't really matter WHERE I get my news, it matters what I take away from it.

And I don't think we can blame all of our economy's problems on one man. It was a group effort, the squabbling in the HoR and senate between two inept parties full of people that're only interested in lining their own pockets had a LOT more to do with it than the man with the title. Placing the blame on one person is downright irresponsible and a cop-out to boot.

But it makes me feel so good. I actually hate that asshole more that I hated Nixon and I never thought that would happen. Nixon kept my brother prisoner in Viet Nam for four years before ending the war, I really hated him and his bullshit "I'll stop the war" lying crap. It took him four years and that happened to be the four years my brother was a prisoner. So for me to hate Bush more is saying a lot.

Bravo my friend...+1 rep comin' at ya.
Thanks for the love. ^^ This is a difficult area and it's easy to offend a lot of people...

MM, face it, CC just handed your ass to you.
I don't think I handed his ass to him, it could've been much worse.

And on that note, MM, if it IS true that your brother served in Vietnam I have to say I understand why you're so disgusted with the republican party AND with Bush in particular ... as the war in Iraq seems to remind people of the senseless and overall pointless venture the Vietnam War was. The Iraq war makes me very, very angry ... and as good as it would feel to blame Bush for it ... I have to remember that congress had to approve it before it came about. The Vietnam War didn't have that, congress had no say in dispatching the troops in the first place. Continue to be bitter, because you - if anyone - has earned the right.

Your history is accurate, Seamaiden. The Media did to Nixon exactly what they are doing to Bush. Many of the same players are involved too.

The true hostages in Vietnam were all the young people who didn't volunteer to go, but were drafted ... thanks to the Democrats. In true form, in the minds of the liberals, the god-state reigns supreme over the individual ... and therefore, the draft. The draft was finally ended under the Gerald Ford administration, only to be revived by President Jimmy Carter in 1980.

Well, the reason Kennedy was assassinated was because he wanted to stop the war. Now for the gettin us out bullshit, it took him 6 fucking years and a hundred thousand+++ people dancing on the white house lawn to move his retarded ass, 4 of those years was my brothers years. Please don't champion Nixon to me. I was alive and witnessed every excruciating minute of his diabolical presidency, It's been said that he opened up China, well how's that going???

kennedy did not put us in vietnam...the first soldiers were killed in 1956 while Ike was president.... The first American soldier killed in the Vietnam War was Air Force T-Sgt. Richard B. Fitzgibbon Jr. He is listed by the U.S. Department of Defense as having a casualty date of June 8, 1956.

Actually, it was the CIA pissed off at him because he put the CIA under Army control, so they could no longer be self-ruled.

Sorry MM but this doesn't sound like the actions of a man who wants to end a war...
John Kennedy and the Cold War
It was for these reasons alone, that holding the line in Vietnam was essential. It was JFK who increased America's troop number from 500 to 16,000 and he repeatedly insisted that while Vietnam might have been "in the final analysis, their war," American troops were nontheless not there "to see a war lost" and that he totally disagreed with those who were suggesting the idea of a pullout. "I think that would be a mistake," he said to Walter Cronkite in 1963.

The President accepted the Taylor recommendations, and the number of U.S. personnel grew steadily during 1962. U.S. advisors in the field rose from 746 in January to over 3,400 by June; at the end of the year, the entire U.S. commitment was 11,000, including 29 U.S. Army Special Forces detachments.

HistoryNet - From the World’s Largest History Magazine Publisher » General Maxwell Taylor’s Mission to Vietnam

The initial military commitment called for the introduction into South Vietnam of armored personnel carriers and up to 300 aircraft, including helicopters. From a modest force of 3,205 U.S. military personnel in Vietnam at the end of 1961, the number of troops and advisers swelled to more than 9,000 by the end of 1962. By the time of Diem’s–and Kennedy’s–assassinations in 1963, more than 16,000 U.S. personnel, many of them going on combat missions alongside the ARVN, would be in-country.
Now I will grant this, but has actions, not his promise, speaks volumes...
Kennedy still did not know was policy to pursue in Vietnam. He had already begun to speak to his advisers about pulling out. He had announced that he was pulling out 1,000 men from Vietnam at the end of the year. Kennedy, however, left no doubt that he will see the war through until he won reelection in 1964. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. The only thing certain about Kennedy's role in Vietnam before he died was that he had escalated America's military, political, and maybe psychological commitment to Vietnam.
Pulling out only 1,000 out of 16,000. Not exactly a withdrawal IMO.
...and Johnson just made the situation worse.

Geeze Dave, do you have a job or do you spend all day on Wiki trying to defeat my posts. Even though I find this site somewhat interesting, I have better things to do than correct all the misinformation being displayed here.
Personally, I could care less about what happened 55 years ago, well except the part about who really killed JFK, I'd like to know that. Yeah I know, you're going to tell me it was Oswald and to get over it. Well I really don't buy that scenario and I have no proof, just a gut feeling, well that, and the Zapruder film that shows the back of his head flying in the opposite direction of where the supposed shot came from while his head is being violently snapped to the rear. My theory, a guy dressed like a cop in a "cop" car on the bridge with a sniper rifle, it's only a theory.

Just look at the entrance and exit wounds small hole in the back of the head while his forehead region was totally blown out many that was the exit wound, the shots was taken from behind. Wittnesses heard the shots coming from the book depository, oswalds prints were on the gun, bullets matched the caliber gun

You know that Oswald was no expert marksman, and still today, the best sharpshooters in the world are still unable to replicate that shot. They found bullet damage on different parts of the concrete around the limo. There were probably 5-6 people aiming at Kennedy.
