Vape Pens

Whoa.

I grow and rarely go to dispensaries. Maybe for some edibles or some variety.
I got an ego-t pen a few weeks ago and love it.
I just got a different/new vape pen. They are free if you buy 2 cartridges. The 500mg cartridges are $30 at most places. I paid $20 for 250mg for my ego-t.

These things are like the ipod of pot. You can catch a quick few puffs any where. They don't leave a smell for long. The smell doesn't hang on you at all.
I was told charge can go over a month hitting it daily. My egot-t went over a month.

I definitely like the idea of vape pens but have a hard time parting with $$ for one. With all the flowers and hash I make for myself I just can't pay for other people's product. If anyone knows of a good/relatively inexpensive method to make C02 oil and a vape pen that can be refilled, please chime in. That would be the ticket... :bigjoint:

The Refills are hash oil made with food grade glycerine.
You can make it and refill your own.

They have som realy neat looking vapor pens on the net, with big ass tanks.

I have more weed and bubble hash than I know what to do with. I have an oil making rig.

Do you have a CO2 oil extractor?
$30 for 500mg of CO2 oil is not expensive.
The pen is free when you buy two cartridges.

I do not want to go through the hassle of making my own oil, either mixing it or finding a more expensive pen that will accept pure oil...

This is not expensive and is incredibly convenient. I use it in addition to smoking.
If you google refilling a vape pen, you will see a few hundred thousand hits.
I'm too lazy to worry about a refillable vape pen when these are so cheap and effective.

Yeah, i'm not interested in any pen that requires I mix with glycerin to use it. That is basically an ecig, is it not? (or are there more expensive ecigs that don't use glycerin too?)

I have a G-Pen and have been enjoying pure CO2 extracted honey oil through it. It's bomb.

Edit: if I could change one thing about it I would like it to draw a wider air flow, or just get rid of the auto-off-after-12-seconds feature so I can just hold it down as long as I want. (I've gotten in the habit of releasing and re-pressing the button real quick every 6-8 seconds to get a continuous draw)

I'm too lazy to make my own oil and get it in a pen.
I could make my own colloidal silver for cheap, but it is one more thing to do. I buy it for $20 and save me the hassle.

You can always go out and get more money.
You can never go out and get more time.

The profit margin is frickin' huge on those vape tanks. MIP's can crank out 250mg tanks for less than five bucks a pop and sell them to dispensaries for twelve or thirteen bucks a pop. The dispensaries can then sell them to patients for twenty to thirty a pop. That's still a decent deal if you figure that you're going to get more use out of one tank than you would out of an eighth of nugs or a gram of hash. MIP's make hardly any money on the pens to get people to buy the cartridges. The only problem is that patients have a habit of breaking the cheap chinese pens and then expect the dispensary to replace the pens for free. Also, MIP's use really crappy trim to make the oil for the cartridges and you have to mix that nasty low grade oil with glycerin, propylene glycol, or a natural accelerant like hemp oil to get your vape on. Knowing how the vape tanks are made kind of ruined it for me and I don't like the taste of butane oil or CO2 oil. I used to do quite a bit of vaping when I could get the tanks for free, but I'd never pay money for them. That said, I don't think they're some fad that will disappear in a year or two. People like them and I think they'll be around for a long time. I kinda miss having a vape pen to take with me to the movies or to keep in my car for a little head adjustment every now and then...

The open vape has a lifetime warranty.

I am not the type of person that will hate someone for making money off of a great product.
Again, I do not want to have to deal with buying an expensive pen, then making my own oil, then filling cartridges...
This is cheap and convenient, a nice addition to my cabinet of smoking/vaping tools.

The 500mg cartridges are $30. a friend told me they last him longer than a 1/4 ounce of good weed.
The cartridges for the open vape are strain specific.
I have never heard of someone hate on co2 extracted oil.
The vape pen tastes like vaped oil, Hmm, imagine that.

Hate all you want, this is a great product.
Imma go hit it now.

you guys put out a Lot of good input on this pen. I just recently saw it at my to go dispencery. i wanted to wait for some real people input. so here is what i gather , 30 bucks a cartrige and it can last as long as 1/4z if not longer, i was told an avg of 100 hit, and you can get strain specific cartriges. Shit sounds good right there, so what if its cheap, it works and if it breaks its cheap, buy another. i was also told that there is alocal CO. company producing vape pens, thats just word of mouth havent really looked in to that just yet. It certenly looked and felt convinient.

I am lazy. I will make some oil when the wife says the trim etc is taking up too much room in the garage freezer. Besides, I do not have a CO2 rig, those are about $50,000.

What is a standard e-cig?

I have an ego-t vape pen and an openvape. I like the opne vape pen better. It uses CO2 extracted oil and is strain specific. The cartridges are bigger too. The cartridges firt only the pens they are designed for as far as I know. Buy two and you get the pen free.

By a regular ecig I mean standard threading that a 510 atomizer screws into and the ohms of the cartridges too
