Plants need water every day??

My mom's are under a 600 watt MH, the RH is pretty low, 35%ish? If I don't water them every day, their wilted by the time I wake up in the morning, such as this morning. I watered them Sunday afternoon, a very good watering. Water till comes out the bottom, yes I know how to water. I am using FF Ocean Forest, plants are about 3 months old in 3 gallon smartpots. My only thought is maybe put them in a larger smart pot like a 5 gal? But won't they just overgrow that one too? Any insight appreciated. Thanks

Transplant to a 7g pot if you can 5 is good .....you shouldn't have to water everyday.Cannabis could outgrow any pot.Its all in the veg time.GL.peace

Smart pots dry out quicker than regular pots, but are you completely drenching them when you water? when mine get really dry I'll put it I a bucket of water until the whole pot is drenched, then it takes a few days to dry back out

The point of a smart pot is to grow bigger plants in smaller containers without need for transplant because the roots air-prune themselves

Yeah, I pick them up and see what they weigh and determine if they need water or not as a rule of thumb.. Their always heavy after I water them..

You will have to repot asap as the mother has moisture stress yellowing ,rust spots(salt build up), less vigour, susceptible to disease will be passed onto the cuttings and cloning will become less successful.

Uh yeah you nailed it, yellowing, rust spots and less vigour... Thanks I will be repotting as immediately. Should I not get a smart pot and stick to a plastic pot??

depends on you, how do you feel about it?
I think the best way is trying both, then decide which one works better for you ;)

Hey bro.. so rust spots is salt build up?? Because I've been told its a cal-mad
Def..? Anyways, I have had a few issues with one of my babies here recently!
And i t 1'st started out as yellowing on the outter edges of a few of her leaves.
Then the tips started to burn. Then the rust spots last on a few leaves.
So, at the time all this was going on, I didn't have NO cal-mag on hand!
So I ordered some, received it, gave her a dose of it, and some jungle juice, &
Repotted her. Thinking this would fix her issues.. nope! Still going on!
So idk what the hell is going on with her now! Lost! If anyone has had the same
Issues come up, please help me out.. any help is always greatly apperciated!
Thanks guys.. later.

There might be several reasons for the same issue,
it is quite difficult to tell the difference without any picture and proper information
For example, even if cal-mag def results in rust spots
when salt build up, it will lock out the other elements and it might be occur like cal-mag def
the same thing happens for ph problems too
the only advice I can give you with this information,
test it with one of your plants and wait for 3-4 days.
if it gets better do it for all of them, not then try something else ;)

Alright. Thanks 4 the information bro.. sorry abt the lack of info & pics.
I was in a quick hurry that day I believe. Anyways, I'm off wrk 2 day, so I will
Post up a few pics.. I've been told everything from it being a cal-mag def, to salt
Build up, & a (k) potassium deficiency.. to me it kinda does look like the early stages
Of a potassium deficiency. Again thanks 4 the info.. here's those pictures.

watering everyday in a 3 gal. smart pot is not letting the plant have it's dry out period. My key is to pick up a pot when full of water and pick it up again day 3/4 noting if it feels light and dry. If you let the leaves drop before watering u waited too long. The plant likes slightly dry before watering. Try the
I think its time to water so I'll water tomorrow trick. next would be nut issue. If watering doesnt fix it go by sunleaves Seabird guano $15. Like nuts for dummys. top soil a heaping tablespoon every 3/4 weeks from week 4 from seed to chop. thank me later.
