Grow tent has Positive pressure, with no intake?

So i have eliminated my intake and room exhaust fan now that i am running co2 in the grow tent.. I have my lights air cooled so I don't understand why so i have positive pressure... Any ideas?

Do you have your fans place to be pushing air through the hoods or do you have them set at the end pulling air through the hoods ? Do you have backdraft preventers in place? Do you have a window AC unit or the like that could be allowing air to flow into the room?

if you have eliminated your exhaust and intake then you shouldnt be getting any pressure what so ever in there...have you got oscillators in there by any chance? if so they could be the culprit...

It seems as if this is a good thing, considering it is staying blown up, which tells me it is quite sealed for my co2 use... but i still don't understand....

My fans all pull air, i have a backdraft damper but i dont need it now since it is one complete duct that doesnt touch the inside, no a/c in place, dont need it yet..???

I do have a dehumidifier a clip on fan an oscillating fan and a stand fan all on blowing air lol, maybe the oscillator on the bottom blowing air a crossed the bottom of the plants stocks is grabbing air from small opening on bottom of the tent and bringing it in?

Hmm. I know they sounded oddball but a lot of times that ends up being the culprit lol. Pinhole leaks in ducting in a positive pressure hood setup can wreak havoc in a c02 setup. Clearly those aren't the issues this. Positive pressure wont be the end of the world by any means but if ur nervous about smell PP can be your worst enemy pushing smells out of every tiny crack. Maybe a bad window seal? Lol. Wish I could help

Lmao its only a 5x5 gorilla tent but its necessary until my wall mount fan comes in, it was back ordered and it messed me up space wise for now....Also, i guess i should mention this as i forgot, i was previously pulling outside winter air through my lights and it was creating way too much condensation when met with the 1000w his so i decide3d to pull the duct off the flange and pull air from the household air to increase the hood air temp so i wouldnt have water dripping all over my plants... could this be the issue... i am not concerned about smell... i love the smell hahahaha

just a little while ago i watched the light fan come on and this is when it started to balloon... im thinking from my duct re adjustment must be the problem....

If you are truly pulling air through the hoods and the fan is at the very end of your circuit dumping out of the room into the ceiling or wherever you ducted it to there shouldn't be a positive pressure issue if anything you should have a negative pressure that's really interesting how long of a ducting run from the exhaust side of the fan do you have before it exits the room? Did you happen to leave a backvdraft preventer on the exhaust side? Maybe backwards? Lol. Sorry I'm just grasping at straws now I'm kind of baffled as to what the actual cause might be

it is a hydro farm air cooled reflector and it sealed.. i used to have a intake and an additional exhausting the tent air for exhange but i am truly running just one hood that is sealed, it is weird, like u said if anything the reflector would be not quite sealed creating negative pressure...

I could see if u had it on a serperate circuit pulling fresh air through the hood as before but if ur pulling from the room negative pressure seems like the logical obvious result.how many cfm are u putting through the light? Is it on a controller?

its an 8 inch max fan mid 600 cfm, its for future use also to handle bigger room i am planning.... its crazy maybe i need to check the siches around the duct again after cleaning the water from the ducts maybe i left some opening

Pushing air in would cause more positive pressure buddy... and if you have open duct in your grow room that exhausts you need to use a backdraft damper to allow co2 to stay within the room... however in this case i have no open ducts....

Think before u speak. Its better to be thought of as a jackass than to open your mouth and prove it. The 6 years helping my father (an hvac of 24 years) run his business taught me all I need to know. Push vs pull is a long dead debate
