OP,
SickMeds sells Green Crack in Fem form. Should drop soon at Sea of Seeds. You can read the description on SoS' site.

An s1 doesn't equal green crack but you might be able to get something close or even better. Just don't call it green crack unless you're using the s1 tag

True Green crack is "clone only".

As mentioned, feminized S1 (self fertilized) ceeds are currently available from SickMeds, which is a new breeder based in Spain. Cannazon has them, a few others probably do now too, and you can buy them right off the Sickmeds website.

These just came out (literally in the last two months) and I haven't seen any grow/smoke reports yet, but I'm confident that will change in the next few months.

No, S1 ceeds won't be exactly the same as the original strain, but they're probably about as close as you're going to get from ceeds. You'll probably see some phenotype variation, with some of the phenos closer to the mother parent than others. If you are familiar with the original and have the ability to grow out a bunch of plants and do some selection, you may be able to come up with something reasonably close.

Well, the strain was originally just called "cush", and its still called that in Georgia where it was originally bred. Supposedly the name "green crack" came directly from Snoop Dogg as a sort of ironic/wise ass comment about how tasty and good the strain was. IE, its intended as a complement.

I "get" the repulsion at the name "crack", but I wouldn't let the fact that some people call it that discourage you if its otherwise a strain you'd like. Obviously, its just another cannabis strain, and its not any more dangerous nor addictive than any other one.

People really love this strain, because its got a great combination of flavor, potency, sativa-type buzz, and fast flowering time. If it makes you feel better, lots of the dispensaries that sell it call it "Green Candy" or "Green Cush", and of course you can call it anything you like!

A S1 seed from Green Crack does not = Green Crack. Sorry for your fakes SickMeds.
I agree that an S1 isn't the same as the parent, but I don't think its fair to call these "fakes".

Sickmeds is fairly upfront about what these are. To the best of my knowledge the breeder isn't making false claims about the ceeds, nor do I have any reason to believe that these feminized ceeds aren't actually S1s from a self-pollenized Green Crack clone. I'd add also, that there is/was another breeder selling what is purportedly also S1 Green Crack ceeds, only at 2x the asking price of SickMeds' version.

Again, even if they aren't exactly like the parent, for the vast majority of us who don't have access to clones of the original, this is probably as close as you are going to get in a commercially available product.

brotherjericho: Fake or not, if it fucks you up, its worth it. To us less than connoisseurs!
Well, I think there are two questions here:

a. Are plants grown from these ceeds similar to the clone only line? If so, I think they are probably well-worth the asking price.
b. If they are not exactly the same, how different are they, and how good are they in their own right?

If the S1 ceeds are really different than the famous parent, then someone familiar with the real McCoy might be pretty disappointed with them, even if they are excellent in their own right.

Again, I think this may become clearer in a few months if/when some grow reports emerge. I have it on good authority that these are being tested right now.

I agree with most of what you've said. One thing to add is that it also goes by Dream Queen because many California dispensaries didn't like the name Green Crack.

My real problem with S1 seeds is that putting them out with the same name as their clone only parent (same goes with strains like Blue Dream, and cut only OG's) is that it fucks up the purity of the clone only strain. Suddenly, something that has been solid and consistent genetics gets all mushed up and wishy washy. Maybe I get a CG clone from a dispensary, and suddenly instead of getting rotten fruit smell, I end up with more of the skunk genetics or whatever. I just want clone only strains to stay consistent. It's all fucked up already, but we don't have to make it worse do we?

Also, and "breeder" charging much $$ at all for these beans is ripping the customer off.

I have a Green Crack plant in veg now. Within 6 months I could clone and reverse it and grow out easily 1000's of "Green Crack" seeds. If I charged $10 a pop for those I'd gross $10,000 with very little costs.

Shit.. Gotta go.. Need to make green crack seeds real quick.

Taking preorders now. $20 for 4 seeds. Seeds ready in 6 months..

Be right back.
