Obama leads by 2% points last time I checked. He's going to win the election, by all measurable standards.

You can only believe that if you believe Dems are going to turn up in 2008 numbers, not 2010. Early voting already shows Obama turnout at -4% and Republican turnout at +14% in areas that went Obama last election.

Anything is possible, but I think I'll give the citizens the benefit of the doubt that they will select Conservative reason over abject Progressive stupidity.

Where did you find these numbers? Are you watching Fox news and getting your "facts" from there. No one knows what the turnout is yet, it's waaaaaay too early. Hell, even if these numbers are right, it's probably because Democrats are at work and those red-neck, trailer park trash, hill billy dumb @sses are too dumb to have a job anyway and they went to vote early.

I would like to think that we are getting smarter every year, but I have came to believe that is not true. As long as we have republicans who want to keep America from moving forward, from PROGRESSING into a more modern, tech savvy country, we will fall behind in the world at record speeds, just like when Bush was in office.

Republican = "We wish it were still the 1940's, where the white male has complete control of everything, because we want to hold people down"

Democrat = "Lets try new things, lets stop doing the same stuff over and over that doesn't work, lets re-invent America and become a leader once again across the world"

I'm not sure that you can. I would like to see the information if you can find credible information with sources, carried out by educated people.

The reason I trust Nate Silver is because he knows his stuff, he's educated, he was nearly perfectly correct last election and I don't see how he's biased.
He's not just some random guy.

If you could prove otherwise I would take a look at it but I doubt that you can find someone of Nate Silvers caliber with numbers showing the complete opposite.

It's humorous that you think that progressives are more "forward thinking" than Conservatives because their name contains the word "progress." Nothing could be further from the truth.

The progressive agenda is simply a rehashing of failed theories and sociopolitical dogma that has failed time and time again. The Conservative views of small government and unfettered individual freedom that this country was founded on, is the vastly more enlightened and "progress" oriented position. We are one of the last havens for those wanting something different than European socialism and the Progressives have been trying to fuck it up for over 80 years.

But, it's very telling that you felt your argument was so weak, you had to pull the race card in a flaccid attempt to bolster it. Pathetic.
