Obama Tries To Sway Marijuana Voters, Marijuana Voters Toss Him The Finger

The 2000 election was decided by voter fraud. It was in the LA times the day after the election, and Greg Palast wrote a wonderful book about it. The Best Democracy Money Can Buy

The company that owned the voting machines in Florida was owned by a major Republican donor. The bureaucracy in Florida got caught red-handed screwing with the voter files to disenfranchise voters.

And please, lets all chill on the cursing and insults. Just spread information, and the truth will follow.:leaf:

What's funny is that all of you think it makes one bit of difference who is president! I could be the next president and I 100% guarantee you nothing will go any differently than if it was Obama or Romney or anyone else for the next 4 years for that matter. THAT is where the craziness lies in that all of the sheople actually think their vote is doing something. Society is completely blind, spoon fed fools that think they're able to make a difference. Argue away! Get excited! Loud noises!
:hump:
Lilly Ledbetter Act (equal pay for women)
Direct Student Loans (no banks as middlemen)
No Invasion of Iran
Presidential support of gay marriage
Another step towards Nationalized healthcare, something that took Britain the horror of world war II to implement.
Funding for The Arts Endowment, NASA, and Green Technology

All of the above items are ways that our country has fared better under this particular Democratic president. The vote is just one small tool in the revolutionary's work-belt. It is up to YOU, to all of US, to decide what is important in our lives, come together, and organize.:blsmoke: My friend, let me quote the good reverend MLK II.

"The arc of history is long, but it bends towards justice"

And by the way do not believe shit Obama says..I remember when he was running for office 4 years ago ..he said he backs states rights and would not use the f\eds as muscle to trump state laws..Lie!
It is the nature of politicians to lie. It is the nature of the citizen to demand rights, uphold ideals, and enact change. When the civil rights act was brought to LBJ he famously said "great, now go get support so I can pass it!"

Politics is defined as who gets what, when. Its very practical and pragmatic in practice. We like to talk lofty, but the real revolutionary knows that unless communities are LOUDLY and CONSISTENTLY demanding something, politicians will never take action. Even in the case where demand is high enough, a politician still might not take action, in which case a massive Civil Disobedience act is required.

Come on guys, Arab Spring anyone?! THE PEOPLE ARE IN POWER, NOT THE LEADERS, WOOOO!!:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

We just gotta roll up our sleeves and, *gulp*, talk to our neighbors, engage our communities, act locally and think globally.

You're good on all except for one thing. It should never take a "massive Civil Disobedience", unless it is for a revolution and abolishment of the current establishment. The people need to learn that government should fear them, and not vice-versa. Even in this thread, you see a lot of, "I'll vote Obama because hes the best of the worst" or "It's either Obama or Romney so I will vote Romney". That's the exact opposite of how we should think. We should demand excellence and settle for nothing less. The fact that we are in the position we are currently in, is utterly disgusting. And I don't mean from just the last president. If we continue to let things get progressively worse, we have only but ourselves to blame.

I voted for myself last year, at the age of 20, knowing well that even lawfully, there was no possibility for me to be president. However, that doesn't change the fact that when I took a picture of it and showed it off, that my message did in fact get across. My message that neither of the major, nor any of the minor candidates, met my requirements to vote for them. It's principle and moral. The same principle and morals that fundamentally tell you to be a good person, to always help your family in any time of need, to be a trustworthy and loyal friend. Allowing your government to dictate your life in a knowingly hurtful manner, is unacceptable for both parties.

Whatever. A journalist's theory, nothing more. Al Gore lost because he thought he couldn't lose. A little more effort on his part and he would of won.

Neither the Republicans or the Democrats want to legalize weed. We need to work on fixing the economy, Obama's 6 trillion in new debt, 8% unemployment for 43 consecutive months, and 46 million on food stamps is unacceptable. Time for a regime change in DC.

a regime change would give us the guy who was 47th in job creation, #1 in debt per person, and raised every fee imaginable to balance the budget on the backs of the middle class as governor.

not to mention other stuff. see my sig.

what did romney try to put a fee on?

a fee for being blind. for being mentally handicapped for having tuberculosis. for volunteer firefighters. for golf. for cremation. for driver licenses. for gun licenses. for cottages. for ice skating. for barbers. for hairdressers. for nurses. for pharmacists. for plumbers. for psychologists. for realtors. for home inspectors. for auto repair shops. for divorce. for changing your name. for milk. for funeral directors.

a better question is what did romney not try to put a fee on that affects the middle class?

yes, by all means. elect that man. i need more fees. and tariffs. did i mention romney wants to drive up the cost of basically everything by imposing tariffs?

My goodness. What did he ever say about voting for Romney?

Obama has sucked ass. Admit it. It's fact. Just like that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

If you think voting in the presidential election will change the outcome of the end game, you're deluded. The agenda will be the same, no matter which blame catcher is in office. If you guys think that the POTUS actually runs this country with his own decisions, you are deluded.

The agenda remains the same, no matter which puppet is at the end of the strings. Red/Blue, Donkey/Elephant, Right/Left, Conservative/Liberal, if you follow the puppet strings, you will see they lead to hands that belong to one entity.

regime change. there are only two viable parties. that means if we change, we change to the other viable party.

Obama has sucked ass. Admit it. It's fact. Just like that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
how so?

here is how obama has directly affected my life:

he signed into law the american recovery and reinvestment act (aka the stimulus). that law saved me thousands in taxes. anyone who worked got $400 a year in tax relief just for working. anyone on unemployment had the first $2400 of their unemployment insurance exempted from tax. anyone who worked just a little got more tax relief from the earned income tax credit. i wouldn't be surprised if you knew none of this.

edit: almost forgot the payroll tax cut, which also saved me hundreds.

the american recovery and reinvestment act also gave funds to my state to widen the highway into town. it is now three lanes instead of two where it always bottle necked. instead of sitting in traffic, idling, and burning more gas, i now get to where i'm going quicker and with less wasted gas. guess what? so do the goods and services that flow on that highway. do you think companies are going to take that loss from inefficient infrastructure? they pass that along. good for citizens, good for businesses.

the patient protection and affordable care act allowed my wife to obtain insurance for the first time in a long time. she has a pre-existing condition. she still gets charged out the ass for that reason, but at least she is insurable now. not to mention that the birth control pills she takes not only as a form of responsible family planning, but also for her severe menstrual cramps, are now considered as the preventive medicine that they are and not subject to a co-pay.

with the release of the holder memo, dispensaries sprung up like crazy nationwide and growers like myself breathed a sigh of relief knowing that we were considered as low priority as it gets. contrast that with the douche in my sig.

while getting bin laden was no big fucking deal to me, it certainly was a big deal to my family back east who used to be able to see the twin towers from their rooftops.

i now know that thanks to the lily ledbetter fair pay act, my wife, my mother, my aunts, my in-laws, and my friends who are subject to gender based pay discrimination are now able to fight that injustice much more effectively thanks to president obama.

and although i don't know for sure, something tells me that my at least one of my friends in arizona or co-workers in el paso may sleep a little better at night knowing that their son or daughter, who was brought here illegally by no fault of their own, will not face deportation to a country they have never known.

so yeah, that pretty much sucks ass by all accounts. what did you do with your suck-ass tax breaks?

tell me again about how SCOTUS picks never have any direct affect on our lives.

Except for the fact that neither party is viable, as they both are majorly flawed.

So he effectively brought into action socialism, spreading money from taxpayers to "exempt tax payers", as you so eloquently put it.

I live in Arizona, and watch the jobs of hard working, legal citizens, get taken by illegals that work for < 1/2 minimum wage. You honestly think that adds any benefit to our nation, or are you just intentionally ignorant and arrogant?

Oh, and you just got done saying how Bush brought us into a deficit with a war on Bin Laden and other terrorism, yet give the credit to Obama for finding him in his mansion inside of an urban city? You truly are for spreading the wealth/rewards without the penalties, aren't you guy?

Affordable healthcare, ARE YOU JOKING? As a small business owner, OBAMA just raped me and the rest of us with his Obamacare "TAX". Which my friend, happens to be highly unconstitutional. Do you remember from middle school, little unclebuck learning about the boston tea party, revolutionary war, and the declaration of independence as well as the constitution? We left Great Britain because we were over taxed and under payed. What situation are we in now? That's right! The exact same position, and it's getting worse!

Lastly, the construction on your roadways is most certainly STATE FUNDED, but I'm sure you wouldn't know that, because you're blindly ignorant. My state has had construction ongoing for the last 20 years, are we going to give credit to Obama for that too unclebuck?

I used to be an info-warrior too bro, trust me, I feel you. But the truth that I've seen from being on the ground actually doing door-to-door political work is that you need to have more Eugene Debs in your heart and less Alex Jones.

..."while there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free."

The truth is that the Millennial Progressives (my generation) are wrenching the Democratic party back to its proper place left of center. True, money controls everything, but that doesn't mean that real change can't be enacted by us, the citizens, the people. If we take down Citizens United ruling, and organize as concerned citizens we can accomplish anything with enough numbers!

do you even know what "viable" means?

So he effectively brought into action socialism, spreading money from taxpayers to "exempt tax payers", as you so eloquently put it.
ummmm, what? i don't understand how exempting the first $2400 of unemployment insurance from taxation is equivalent to ushering in socialism. put down the bong and elaborate on that, would ya?

I live in Arizona, and watch the jobs of hard working, legal citizens, get taken by illegals that work for < 1/2 minimum wage. You honestly think that adds any benefit to our nation, or are you just intentionally ignorant and arrogant?
yeah, i'm sure ya do. i'm sure my father, who lives in gilbert, is sitting on his ass because the illegals took all his work in construction and renovation. oh, wait. he's not.

maybe if we can kick enough illegals out, not only will the benefit they add to local economies disappear, but we can also watch the crops rot in the field, like they are doing in gergia!

http://wonkette.com/448250/crops-rotting-in-georgia-since-illegal-alien-farm-workers-fled-state

alabama passed a law similar to arizona and georgia as well. their crops rotted in the fields too.

http://www.policymic.com/articles/8272/alabama-illegal-immigrant-crackdown-destroys-farm-business

i'm sure there are other people to work the farms though. georgia just made a half-assed effort by bussing in prisoners to work for $10 an hour.

Oh, and you just got done saying how Bush brought us into a deficit with a war on Bin Laden and other terrorism, yet give the credit to Obama for finding him in his mansion inside of an urban city? You truly are for spreading the wealth/rewards without the penalties, aren't you guy?
bush said, and i quote, "i truly am not that concerned about him".

and it showed. he went into iraq, deficit funded by the way, for no good reason.

obama directed panetta to make bin laden a top priority. and we got him.

Affordable healthcare, ARE YOU JOKING? As a small business owner, OBAMA just raped me and the rest of us with his Obamacare "TAX". Which my friend, happens to be highly unconstitutional. didn't you get the memo? obamacare was ruled constitutional, bro.

no one as misinformed as you owns a business, either. especially not any business that is affected by obamacare. unless you're employing over 50 people, you face no shared responsibility mandate and are offered subsidies.

but again, you do not own a business. that is a lie. you are far too stupid to own a business.

Lastly, the construction on your roadways is most certainly STATE FUNDED, but I'm sure you wouldn't know that, because you're blindly ignorant. My state has had construction ongoing for the last 20 years, are we going to give credit to Obama for that too unclebuck?
state funded, you say?

just another example of how you like to talk out of your ass.

go ahead and admit that you have no fucking clue what you are talking about before i shred you three new assholes, sport.

fb360, you have a lot going on in your post but I'll just address the more simple issues.

1. We invaded their country first by passing NAFTA and flooding their markets with cheap American corn. American corporations have been economically invading Central and South America for almost a century. Where else are they gonna go?
2. Blame the businesses and corporations who hire them. Aren't they the real criminals?
3. I bet you're at least a quarter Irish. Blame The Immigrants is an age-old propaganda/divide-and-conquer technique. Come on man, we're all in this together! Documented and un-documented, American and Immigrant, worker and worker.
4. Do we really need to call each other names?

fb360 doesn't seem to grasp that mexican corn farmers were completely incapable of competing with our heavily government-subsidized corn crops, and that we put millions of them out of business. i guess he just expected them to sell the family farm and move onto profitable customer service jobs or something.
