So I have six dwc bucket as of now. Where I live were kinda in a drought haven't had rain in like a month nd its 103 degrees outside. I have fan of course in my grow area and I'm gonna put frozen water bottles in the bucket to help cool em down. However getting a a.c unit in my shed is impossible is there any methods somone can give me to help out wih coolng it down. I believe its causing my plant to b stunted in growth and mutating my fan leave and hasn't had much growth since last change of buckets. Was getting like 6 inches a week in growth. Absoulty nothing has changed. I'm in my sixth week of flowering and my plant waaaaaas doing really well I don't wanna lose my plant over heating issue. Thanks for looking. Happy growing

pics?? 6 weeks into flower, you wont see much growth you should be seeing more bud development than anything else... it's hard to control temps in a shed. What I did was put up some dry wall in my shed creating a void space, I cut a hole into the dry wall and sucked cooler air out of the void space into the box and then exhausted the air out of the shed. the void space is on a side where the sun doesn't hit... it helped me a lot... good luck high temps can be a bitch to control. hope this makes sense... stay high

put a sprinkler or mister on the roofof the shed hooked to a water hose. this can drop interior temps up to 10*.

An exterior trellis would add shade to the building cooling down the interior, added a climbing vine to the trellis would block more radiant heat and cool the building even further.

Anything past 80* F unshaded is slowing growth, because the exposed leaves are going to be over 85 and not able to move water very well

I've done fans.. venting.. rez cooling..

The only thing that's really going to help besides shade is an ac unit for your room or to cool your light, and with extension cords an ac unit is always an option for DWC (since I know you have some power there already)

P.S. I'm not supposed to run my ac off of anything but direct wall plug, fuck them I've had no problems yet going from extension cord -> extension cord -> timer -> plug

I am battling heat issues in my grow room as well, and I don't/can't add AC in there. So i have cooled hoods with a fan on each end and bringing the intake in from the basement which is cooler air than the outside. Also I have fans going, and am able to open a door to outside in the joining room at night to let fresh cooler air in.
If it cools down there at night, you should try to get more fresh air in there it may help and add another fan.

Just in case u aren't already. Running your lights at night will help alot w/ temps. And you cab also buy reflectix. Which is reflective n has small air bubbles(like bubble wrap between the Layers) and it is a GREAT way to control radiant heat coming off walls(by trapping the hotter air between it n the external wall) I added some insulation between them for added benefit(as I live in Phoenix,AZ) basically what was said earlier in the thread if you cant afford an A/C unit or building materials do ur best to keep your external walls cooler as to not radiate heat into your room. And if u can get ahold of some dyna-gro protekt to help tolerate a lil more heat stress that'll help too. If you need more advice just ask us AZ growers(serious indoor growers at least) most give up during the summer and the rest of us went through exactly what ur dealing with and it is fixable.
Though yea A/C is king in AZ.
GOOD LUCK N GOOD GROW.

They sell little two foot misters for people at lowes. I have a few, very fine mist and the water is cold. Go get a few and run a couple times a day to keep them cool. High temps accross most of the country right now is going to cause issues for sure.
