How to guarantee a MALE (NOT FEMALE) marijuana plant? Advice Please

sounds like that makes sense to me....the thing is they have to go through alot of trial and error to get reliable fem seeds so its likely the seeds you produce the first few times may have a high likelihood of herming...but then again maybe you get lucky and produce some killer fem beans, i have no experience with breeding to be honest!..but ya id assume that taking the plant that is hardest to make a hermie out of and using that one for the beans sounds scientifically like the best choice just going off other things i know about biology!

Yeah, I will probably just screw around and pollinate my F1 non auto with another F1 auto, making an F1 unknown seed. Hopefully it would contain some of its auto flowering characteristics, but also be able to put on a lot more weight.

I am just going to pollinate each one inside and then put them in an X that is 300 yards by 300 yards so there is no chance of cross pollinating.

I am probably going to pollinate whichever plants are growing the fastest and leave the slower ones for bud. I just feel like if I get maybe 50 seeds off each plant and they are fem... I would be set for a like a few years..... I would probably even buy lights and hydro equipment so I can start an indoor grow. The only thing originally holding me back was the cost of the seeds... It might take me two grow seasons to get it right, but HOPEFULLY i get it right the first time!

If I get 100+ seeds I will honestly send you some. Not kidding as long as you promise to let me know #1 how it grew, #2 how much did it harvest, wet and dry.

Kermit, you can be my little pre-test guinea pig. LOL

If you are interested I have successfully used Silver Thiosulfate Solution that I made myself off of easy to use mix and order items from Ebay...that also hermies plants much like collodial silver...just costs way way less and is easier to find...You need Silver nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfate...anyway they are cheap and easy...if you are interested then let me know and I will share it...or you can google, just like I did...but anyway it's easy and works...but again it isn't a male..it is a hermie...but if you got fem seeds that is the best you will get...although you can take numerous clones from any plant and end up with exact copies of the original plant as many times as you want...one plant can become 1 million...

Yo can you explain what I have to mix and buy please? because the colloidal silver is 16 bucks per 4 fl oz and I need like 12 I think...

I will also google it to see your opinion vs their opinion, etc, etc...

Here is the one I used...the silver nitrate is what is expensive, but you only need a couple of grams...so it's only a couple of dollars...anyway you end up with a lot...they say that you can keep it in the fridge..and perhaps you can if you put the leftovers in a mason jar...I put mine in a tupperware pitcher thing and now it has stuff floating in it...not sure I want to use it now...then again you dilute it 1:9 again with distilled water, so what is floating around in there...? I don't know...but it looks kinda like little gray silty stuff...but I used distilled water...either way it doesn't matter I will wager that it would be fine to still use...and if not I have everything I need to make more anyway...but it definitely works...and how many times and how much you spray is directly evident in just how male the plant turns...I sprayed one plant like super heavily 3 times and the whole thing turned male...the nodes even spaced out..sprayed a different plant later once lightly and only half the plant turned...it had 2 colas and one grew out male, while the other stayed basically female...in the process of the one spray that made half a male plant I accidentally spritzed a leaf on another plant and it grew out 6 pollen sacks on the nearest node later on...so be careful it is serious stuff...it will also dye your fingers brown if you don't wear gloves....

and I didn't...but it isn't as bad for you as hair dye and I use that without gloves and proper ventilation...it super duper works...I have since just started ordering reg seeds so I can skip all that...but I have a batch of fem seeds to play with too...so that is good as well...Hermie pollen doesn't give as many seeds as regular pollen unless you like cover the plant you want to pollinate...and I mean cover it...COVER it...and then you will get the number of seeds you would by pollinating the old fashioned way with a male and female...I have noticed hermie pollen makes fewer seeds when I made the hermie on purpose and when the plant did it with no permission at all...

Actually the chance it will be an autoflowering plant in the F1 is low. At most a 25% chance assuming the ruderalis/photo hybrid you have has a 100% chance for the auto gene, which is unlikely with an auto x photo mix, even 5+ generations down the line. You would need 3 generations at least to get a 100% chance. Do a punnet square.

CS is much easier to make yourself and literally cost pennies to treat your females, A simple DC phone charger and $5 worth of silver and $5 for a couple of jugs of distilled water and you can create litres of the stuff.

There are lots of things with no defined sex at all one way or another...so what are you talking about for heaven's sakes?
Not all plants have defined sexes. Some flowers(i.e roses) have both the male and female parts so that they can fertilizer themselves simply by grabbing pollen from another plant. As far as being asexual(not having any gender at all) that's mostly the case with microscopic things like amoebas and other single celled organisms.

Not quite sure what animal/plant has no gender at all. Where would the eggs(seeds for plants) come from?
