alright first off i already got seedlings and planted them in my 80 Gal fish tank filled half way with soil. well its ben extly 2 days after i put the seedlings in the soil. I have 2-65 wat swirly flourcesent bulbs ontop of a screen for fishtanks like for lizards and shit. I water them at 7 am and 4 pm every day.
Today I added a heatlamp ontop of my closet were i keep the tank btw and it seems like that helped the plants sprout , grow even faster.

I almost didnt answer this but I have to stop you now.

You are on the road of doom. You need to let the soil dry out some between waterings. Over watering will rot the roots and your plant will turn yellow and die. Second and probably the most important, how is your excessive water going to drain out. You know the little holes that are on the bottom of a flower pot? Those are there for a reason. I would suggest to get some real flower pots and transplant you plants in there. Keep as much of the original soil as you can on the roots. Make sure you water well after the transplant.

No offence but the next time someone ask if its cool to grow in a fish tank... I think im gonna go punch an old lady.

You'd be better off moving them now like widow said. You need drainage! Otherwise you'll get mold and unhealthy roots. Plus the fish tank is a bad idea. Too much heat is bad/humidity. Shoot for 70-80 degrees f. Also, how are you going to ventilate in there? Weed plants always seem to start off great, but after that first week you'll start to see what we mean if you don't make the proper adjustments. You shouldn't need to water them more than once every other day at first and when they get older only once or twice a week. And don't use nutes for the first two weeks. Let them get healthy first. Loose the tank or get some fish. Good luck and keep us posted.

alright i moved them to pots ty. ya there doing way better now and i only water them onces the soil looks dry. no nutes they seem to be doing fine by them selves. so is there anyneed for tinfoil on the walls because its already like 75 degres in there with all the lights. and any ideas for a vent system. i was thinking about a plastic bag and double wraping them and making like one opening so it doesnt smell.

Veina,
Please read all of Widow Makers grow guide. It sounds like you can use a little guidance. And stay away from tin foil, it creates hot spots. Use flat white paint instead.

Tin foil on the walls is a good reflector of light, you want as much as you can bouncing back into the plants. Adding tin foil shouldn't do much to the temp so long as you have good ventilation.

Tin foil is good too because it helps to create a sterile environment. Plus it makes things look more scientific.

Ah, just read m420's post. White paint is good too. Gloss, maybe.

They say tin foil makes hot spots. I used to use mylar but now days I just dont worry about it so much. Flat white paint is the best bang for the buck.
