If it's between 1-4 I will consider it to be within my acceptable range of stupidity. It's a domestic flight in the US. I've never taken weed with me on a flight before because it seems pretty stupid, but I was going to make some hard candy with tincture and figured, hey, why not bring a few with me on an airplane?

eh, seems easy enough. Would help if you shaped 'em like another known hard candy and bought a package and wrapped them in those wrappers though... maybe have the bag open and already be munching on 'em.. (you could have a few real ones as decoys so you can eat them as you're going through)

Dope dogs and bomb dogs generally aren't the same dogs.. And not all airports have the same security by a long-shot as far as domestic flights go..
Yeha i made candy and then looked at it and realized it looked sketchy as fuck and smelled like weed so I just didn't smoke for a few days. No big deal. I dunno why I talked myself out of tincture because if I just put it in my girlfriend's bag of toiletries in an old echinacea bottle or something it would've been fine.

You sure about that? It was my understanding that just a marijuana seed is THCless and odorless therefore not detectable by even a dog. Tincture on the other hand contains THC and probably has some kind of odor that is detectable by a drug dog. I have snuck up to about an 1/8th onto a cruise ship before, but I NEVER screw around with the TSA..
I never said anything about dogs trained to smell THC only... *infact* I am not sure there is much of a smell from THC sure there are some plant particles that made make the thc smell like weed or whatever) but the dogs are trained to smell for minute traces of weed and can pickup the scent of a pot seed, what specifically are they trained to "HIT" on I dont think we are allowed to know.

I did read on a seed bank site one time that the seeds are undetectable by scent even for a dog which is why it is so easy to send them through the mail vs sending actual weed through the mail. The information very well could have been inaccurate. I just wouldn't risk anything at the airport though, especially in the US. Too much security.

just throw the candy in yer pocket an roll ... like another post said , try to shape em like a jolly rancher or make lollipops and put it in a mixed munchie bag with normal chips and cookies an shit. if they ask about the snacks, say flying makes you nervous and when yer nervous you need to eat if you cant smoke cigarettes
