Cops raided my grow room, took everything but never even found 1 plant !!!

The cops came in to my house thanx to my mom who opened the door and allowed them to search the house. I was in the police station soo i counldnt call my mom and tell her not to open the door unless they break it open and show you a search warrant. They came in and took all of my grow equipment threw out my hydroton pebbles but the did not find any MARIJUANA PLANTS NOR ONE SINGLE SEED OF MARIJUANA. They didnt charge me with anything I was free after spending 3nights at the police station. I called them back and they said they are going to destroy all of the things they took and if I try to get them back they are going to charge me with intent to manufacture cannabis. What can I do? Im pretty sure I can get all of my stuff back and if they do destroy my equipment can I sue them? Thanx for reading and thanx for helping out in advance.

Admit nothing and talk to a lawyer. Chances are these assholes are going to try to fuck your life up if you have no connections to call on. Don't talk to them till you talk to a lawyer, and even after that don't talk to them. What's their evidence? Hearsay? Legal equipment one can buy everyday? Cops are liars, but sadly you're growing days around there are over. But why were you in a police station to begin with if I might ask?

I think they can keep it if they can prove that he planned on using it to cultivate marijuana.Like say if his mother told them that.Grow lights can be considered drug paraphenalia under the right circumstances.Unless he's legal which I doubt.

I'm not under 18. I'm not a legal grower. They came here to investigate another crime and ended up finding my grow op. I recently got accused of a burglary and they came looking for me at my home. I told them I did not want to speak to them and I demanded to speak to my lawyer. The cops then put me in a cell for 72 hrs. They went back to my house to see if I had any of the stolen items and instead found my grow equipment but no marijuana plants or seeds. I called them today and asked if I can get my stuff back and they said to not even dare to go to the police station and ask for my stuff back or else they were going to charge me with intent to manufacture cannabis. At this point I'm looking for a good lawyer who can help me get my stuff back. I do not plan to set up the grow room again in this house. They did tell me that they are going to destroy the evidence they took from me.

The only way I can see them being able to keep it is if your mom told them you planned on growing pot with them.Either way I am no laywer.It would be easier just to forget about it and start over once you get out on your own.
