Hey all! This will be my second grow and i'm gonna be (very slightly) more planned about it, but still not so much.

So far I know that i'm starting with CFL's til about week 2/3 and then either gonna work out a way to get my 600 involved or put it outdoors to enjoy the 'early spring' we're having here in the UK (daffodils actually in bloom for a couple weeks! in January.. would you believe), yeah maybe not outdoors at this time but will definitely consider it later on maybe even with clones (which I will be taking this time unlike last)

I also know i'll be LSTing, hopefully not with string though because its shit, and ill make sure to keep the plant tied down during flowering too this time lol.

Ok on with preliminary boring pics:

Rooting in red sphagnum moss then going into soil, imagining it'll be a much smoother transplant because the moss will just break away from the roots when dry. That's the theory

only 2nd/3rd day and theyre this big im quite impressed was a lot faster than before anyway. i put cling film/a bag over them for humidity and that really helps

one of them is sorta a bit stretchy though huh?

yeah ill try and move a bit closer just im winging it at the seedling stage cfl's arent the most maneuverable, ill completely cover the stem when i transplant though like one sticky said so shouldnt be too bad

I'll be honest with you and tell you that I had a very stupid incident with the seedlings and pretty much knocked them outta there completely. One of them was pretty fucked anyway so didnt really care much about her but this one is really starting to piss me off. It was doing fine and now its just starting to droop and I look and the roots completely fucked. I reburied it when it showed the top of its root yesterday but today it reshowed it again. Grrr... Well I guess im gonna have to transplant and hope for the fucking best, i really hope its not messed up through my own fault.

Onto better news, look at my seed collection! Spent $44 during the deal times and got 10 seeds outta it, not bad with the variety in there. The free ones from Emerald triangle including grapefruit krush look great. future mothers!

Please wish me luck, I hope my plans on making a mother havent resulted in the complete carelessness of what happens to my seeds. they dont grow on trees! ;)

Nothing to report.. very slow due to root damage I assume. Ugh. At least they're transplanted I suppose. Mix of perlite and general compost. I also started germinating my free seed, an autflower 'LA Diva' today. I'm gonna be buying a 150/250 I think, fuck it i guess its only llike $45 or something for a blue one, that way i can veg one while the others flowering.

Ok well first plant is doing ok, its.. week 2 and a few days. So its a bit behind but thats due to lighting and root issues. still, true leaves are out now and looking good.

2nd seed the LA Diva autoflower has rooted and been put in pure perlite soaked with rain water today. (mental note mostly)

Where'd you buy your seeds from? Assuming you're in the USA. I've been weary about buying because I'm unsure of which site has the best service to the US

Yeh I guess youre right but alls fairly well now

Subbed, I was wondering how this stuff would turn out.
The ak48? im hoping its as easy and forgiving as the white widow was

Well you used a $ on a previous post, I had just assumed USA.
I seem to hear Attitude a lot, so I suppose I shall go for it. Thanks.
yeh i just saw i did. think i do that outta habit now just a quick 1.5 conversion for the amerifags.

onwards with updates!!

about 2 weeks and 5 days since seed for the ak48. bear in mind it had some rootbreaking issues. its finally picking up now and starting to grow so ill up the wattage asap.

that thing doesnt look too good.

looks liek its growing partly deformed and mutatedish

I've had seedlings that have grown liek that from the start.... thats why you need to always germ a handful

sometimes they just dont turn out good and you need to try another.

you could give it some time to see if will grow a little more properly but if you have other seeds or ones germminating...just get rid of that one

you dont want to deal with sickly plants from the start.....you want nice healthy ones

Ya think man? Not just low lighting or something? Granted I've never had anything with those kinda leaves or look. Man that blows if you're right. I was getting ready to be defensive when you said they don't look gOod but if it's just the seed and not me it can't be helped I guess. I'll give it a week or sO then, if it's really as bad as you think I might just throw it outside somewhere and then get a mod to change the title to LA diva. Thanks

ya its def not from whatever u think was goin on with the roots/

it could also be your soil, there could be too much n the compost and its frying the shit out of it

you shouldnt be feeding them until they are at least 2 weeks old and then you start off light.

looks like that soil you had before was dug up in the backyard....just get some pro mix from your local store... it will do you much better dont have to woory about whats in it because its void of anything.
also dont have to worry about bugs and diseases
