Lol sorry man, just playing around. Who knows maybe someone on here with actual skills will get a stroke of genuis with it and run, these aren't being put up as design finals or anything but more ideas to get the creative juices going for myself and of other Weed Nerds.

Again didn't want to offend you or anyone else by these going on the Weed Nerd thread, not really to sure what this thread is about anymore with all the politics and such being discussed now.

Anyways thanks for the Advice, should almost be a design thread so they don't end up on here.

I'm a newbie to Subcools thread and wanted to say high to everybody. One big question though. I have a Horticulture degree and don't remember anything about "Root Aphids". Can someone fill me in? Thanks and Peace

not sure, i am also interested in this question, i plan to run vortex outside in michigan.
Im a bit more northern and have looked almost everywhere for this answer. I'm sure someone knows either way I'm running it. Also Third Dimension and possibly Pandora's Box from clone. Love me some TGA gear.

Hey I was watching Weeden part 4 I think it was Part 4 and Subcool shows a vortex growing outdoors and talks about how he wasn't sure how it would do outdoors with the mold but it did just fine with the lemon water spray they were using.

I heard sub mention this on a couple recent episodes of The Weed Nerd; does this plant look like its soil is 'too hot'?

This Kushberry plant looks the same as all the others that were recently transplanted into a 2:1 mix of Roots to perlite:
-strange coloring, almost yellow 'behind' the green (easier to see in person)
-leaves folded into 'V' shapes, not perfectly flat and elegantly smooth like earlier batches of Roots

Conversely, I was so impressed with how this same cutting performed in the same mix earlier, that I bought several bags to use with seedlings. Is this soil now junk, does it need to be cut further, or maybe just left to sit?
I saw/heard another mention of Roots being 'too hot' due to incomplete composting in the most recent episode; surely that's got to be what's going wrong here. I saw Sub's 'bean counter' cutting the Roots with something else, but can someone tell me what he was mixing in?

I bought 10 bags of the stuff to build my Super Soil mix, so I'll let those sit in the garage for a bit longer than I would have (working with SS#4 right now anyway), but what can I mix in with my Roots to get it back to optimal in the meantime?

Since watching that episode I checked the two places within distance of me and one wants $950 for a pallet and the other told me today $880(something). Is that reasonable to those in the know? $8.80 a bag buying 100 and prepaying doesn't sound very friendly to me.

Lol Ouuf thats some high prices and a lot of soil would last years for me, you should get them and supply your Buddies in the with roots lol. Convert ppl to SS and roots lol.

When you pay $26-$30 a bag it does.

Cost on a bag of Roots is about 7$

Hey sub, just for fun. If you could have any "old time" genetics that have long sense been lost to the community..what would it be and why?
