Ordering Seeds Online Question

Hey everyone, I got a question about ordering seeds online, hypothetically let's say you live in a state where medical marijuana is not available, can you still have seeds delivered to you in the USA even if your state does not have medical marijuana legal? I have heard mixed responses, I heard that it's illegal but it usually still works, but now my second question, what if it doesn't work and the contents of the package are discovered by someone where it's gonna be an issue (example: cops or someone in postal service) do the seeds just get confiscated and your out of money or do you then get a ticket? Arreseted? If someone can helpnout withs some info it would be highly appreciated :leaf:

*also just want to say as a side note, thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my posts, and to the people who reply and give lots of good information. I am so pleased with this site and the whole RIU family so to speak, there's a lot of good people on this site, I've had nothing but good experiences here, thanks everyone*

*also I apologize if this should have been posted in the seed forum, wasn't sure it kind of seemed like a newb question ;)

it's illegal to have seeds delivered to any state in the US, including those with medical cannabis. if they find the seeds you'll just receive a letter in the mail saying they found your shit don't do it again. whether or not your out of money depends on the seedbank you use and if they offer guaranteed shipping.

Really? That's it? How often does that happen? Do a lot of people get away with it a bunch or do most people only get a few purchases before they get caught?

I know a few growers near me who order all the time and have never had any problems....but from what I read on here...hit or miss

Unless you're ordering a couple hundred seeds, they have much bigger fish to fry. Don't worry about it.

After all, the old joke is that terrorists could get WMDs in by hiding them in a bale of marijuana because no-one ever stops those!

I really have no idea how often it happens but it can't be too frequently otherwise it would be all over the boards. I've never had one intercepted and I'm not worried about it happening (hell I just placed an order on friday and it should be shipping today and I'm not the least bit concerned about it getting intercepted, I'm only concerned about how fast they can get here). I only order a pack or two at a time so I'm small time and, like Illegal Smile mentioned, they have bigger things to deal with, they want the big fish. Stick with the legit seed companies that offer guaranteed shipping (like attitude or single seed center or sannie's) and you should be fine.

most people here i havent seen having too hard of a time with it but if you order from places like attitude or sannies i do know you have the ability to order your seed with a guaranteed delivery which means from the day you order if you dont receive your seeds within 30 days no matter what happened to them they will send you new seeds and if you order them and they get stopped by customs you do just get the letter saying "hey dont do that shit ps were taking your package" plus if you order guaranteed from attitude you will also be getting a shirt, bag, wallet, or coffee cup with your order but if you do order from attitude i advise getting the crush proof tins also cause i have heard a lot of people complain about getting crushed seeds from all companies

Also one more quick question, in the past I've had some pretty good dank buds full of crystals and looked good but had smaller white seeds, I've heard a lot of people call them pre mature, but don't know any hard facts, can these be used to grow? I've also found some more regular lookin seeds in good buds too? Are those hermi plants? It obviously wasn't schwag it was still full of crystals tasty etc. ( I know the difference in the grades of weed so I'm not mistaking schwag or mids for good nugs)

Just order from a reputable seed bank and let the paranoia be a thing of the past, if the government has the time and resources to intercept a 6 pack of seeds going to Joe Blows house.....we are all in for a rude awakening haha. I'd recommend one but Canada and the US dont jive when it comes to this.....all the bad drugs come from Canada not Mexico:sleep:

iv ordered from nirvana dozens of times with no problem ever awesome site dirt cheap seeds try northern lights if your new to growing easy strain awesome yield

yes imo nirvana is the best 25-30$ will get you basicly any seed they have fem or not ordered some during Christmas they sent em stitched into a santa hat doesnt get too much stealthier then that :)

i ordered my seeds from attitude -.- so slow getting them they stayed in customers for 10 days and have been sitting 2 hrs from me for the last 24hrs -.- was wondering if anyone has ever used { http://www.theseeddispensary.com } Was wondering because it seems like this site condones germination and give lil bit more info on the plants
