Thanks, yeah I really haven't seen too many serious SCRoGs with LED's yet so I wanted to try it out, and I know that these Pro-Grows work wonders on Autos...so having all that light just on the canopy should produce some good results hopefully!

i was just looking at some pro grows, they're going to be on the shopping list for the next grow. We were thinking of getting another htg supply one but these pro grows have me sold.

Yeah they're definitely quality, and HH's customer service + process of handling orders is great. I want to buy a PG400 next round and use the PG260 for veg mostly or autos.

Second week of flowering. Bud sites are exploding overnight, probably have 15+ strong ones now. It's a lot of work tucking fan leaves every morning haha. Accidentally snapped a branch, may stop LSTing sometime this week, what you SCRoGers think?

-Transition CES Nutes 900-1100 ppm, Silica Blast, CalMg+, Superthrive
-Temps 68-77 degrees
-Res Temps 65-70 degrees
-Light still at 10-12" above highest tops

I can't wait to see pistils :p

Thanks guys. First SCRoG, been a learning experience but I think I got the basics :) Yeah, I'm interested to see what kind of buds I get out of this baby.

Great looking grow you have growing James! I think I'm going to get a Pro-Grow 400. I couldn't make up my mind between the Pro-Grow and the Advanced Diamond series so I might just get one of each and use em side by side. The nice thing about the Pro-Grow is that they are slightly cheaper, and they have IR to trigger flower and UV which helps with trichs. I don't think the Advanced LEDs have that, but I have seen some great grows with the Diamond Series lights.

I was pondering something which would be an experiment that no one would probably want to do, but what would happen if you used blue spectrum only for the first week or two of flower to minimize the stretch, then went full? I know you'd only be getting half the wattage output for that time, but in the first 2 weeks of flower would that really matter? Buds haven't even started forming at that point, so I wonder if it'd even impact final yield? ....just a thought.

Great Idea Red.Ive Read Where You Are Supposed To Run Veg Nutes The Frist Week Of Flower.so Running The Veg Spectrum Longer While Flowering Might Reduce Stretch In The Beginning Flowering Stage. Please Let Us Know What Ya Found Out.Peace And Hair Grease :bigjoint:

I do that with the nutrients (credit to the legendary Heath Robinson for that), and it certainly helps with the aesthetics of the plant. I run the first week or two of flower with the veg nutrients. I'm not sure that it does anything to prevent stretching, maybe a minute amount, but it does prevent yellowing, drooping and dying leaves late in harvest. The leaves are green and supple on harvest day which is nice.

The blue light spectrum is just a thought I had after messing around with T5 spectra and noting the effect that various bulbs had on the plants. It's really pretty incredible how many different ways the plants respond when given different wavelengths.

I run my veg nutes in a "transition formula" for first two weeks of flowering. Keeps my foliage green and lush until the end. As far as using just veg mode up through the stretch....You could try it but my theory is is that more light is better especially with smaller LED panels, running full spectrum in my eyes is only beneficial... sure it throws out way more red light but so do HPS bulbs if you veg with them too but they're still successful.

This Is True Mr Bong. However Does The Plant Really Need All That Power Up Front.MJ Buds Pack On And Resin Up During The Last 3/4 Weeks Of Flowering. And Some Of The Led Grow Journals Ive Read Their Seems To Be A Problem With Streach.Remeber Were Dealing With A Different Light Sourse So Our Grow Techenic's Have To Be Re-Tweeked With That Said I Myself Havent Growen With Leds But I Will Be WaterFarming This Spring With Them And Running Veg Mode On 12X12 Light Schedule For A Couple Weeks Longer To reduce Streach during Early Flowering Sounds Like Something To Try.Just A Thought Peace And Hair Grease :bigjoint:

Hey james....I just got my 180 in and its loud as fuck(seeing this is my first panel) and never experienced this noise before from a light fixture....
Wondering if your 260 has the same noise level.......three fans(180) NEVER STOP running.....i mean i'm in bed and i can hear it from down the hall...no grinding noise just high pitched rpms.......any input would be appreciated...

might have to go with the DS larger and Quiet fans.....thanks

be safe and happy growing...
