3 Kings -- Coco & LED

Picture Update. Just a quick one though, next update I'll have enough time to do a full on photo shoot. They are now both about 12 inches. Still don't have a feel really for this strain, I'm afraid to feed them agressively until I see they can handle it. They are looking good though, probably ready to start flowering around this time next week.

#2 has made a nice recovery. I actually trimmed off some of its battle scars on those lower leaves that were damaged after this picture was taken.

I could be getting tighter node spacing if I had the lights lower, but I didn't feel like changing the height of the light at all this time so I'm just going to take them off the buckets they're sitting once I make the change to 12/12.

That's all for now. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any suggestions or questions. 'Til next time...

Are you referring to the slightly yellow edges on bottom of the close up plant in pic 2 about the nute burn? Pretty sure that was there when I got them from the dispensary, the soil they were in did some damage, but all the new growth since i got them is prettty healthy and green. Ph is steady around 5.5.
I wouldnt be suprised if I start to see some burn or deficiencies start to show up as I begin to test their nute uptake.

Up to 8 ml/gal of base nutes. No signs of over fert. Thought I started to see a cal/mag deficiency so I uped the magical another ml/gal. Pics to come tonight. Flowering to start in a few days. Get yourselves ready.

Picture update! Sorry for being late on this batch of photos. Got a little busy around the house but today is going to be a day of relaxing, watching the championship games (go Niners!) and tending to the plants. They're both sitting about 17-18 inches tall. My original plan was to start flowering around 20 inches so I'm going to see where they're at tomorrow and start flowering sometime between Monday and Wednesday. Decided I'll be rolling with the Boost again, since it's earned me nothing but compliments thus far so why change up a good thing?

Added a couple shots of each plant's top growth. Everything is looking great, I'm really happy so far. Starting to get a better feel for the strain.

Update on the Frisian Dew: Both are looking great, dare I even say better than the 3 Kings? Well, they started out healthier to begin with, probably more stable genetics too. They're both about the same size as the 3 Kings. The only differences again, are the light (which I've actually been adjusting the height as they grow on these ones), strain, and nutes. The vegging quality on both the Diamond series and extreme flower series are pretty similar. I'll get some pics up of the Frisian Dew sometime before flowering begins on those.

What up dawg? thanks for checking out my grow! Welcome aboard. As of today, the lights are 15 inches above the canopy. But the light has been stationary the entire time. I started out 22-23 inches above the clones.

Aww man, don't get me started on last night's game. Great game, well played but unfortunately the kick returner blew it twice for us. Was a great and fun season nontheless.

Yup, the waiting game continues. Fed the girls their last batch of veg nutes yesterday morning. They should be fed with transition nutes and get their first day of 12/12 tomorrow.

Tonight they enter 12/12. Feeding accordingly. The countdown begins. Last batch of veg pics to come later. Then it might be slow on the updates til signs of flowers show. Exciting times ahead!

I need to work on my patience. Already getting ancy waiting for flowering to kick in. this is literally the worst time of a grow cycle for me because there isnt much change happening. A few more days and we should start seeing things kick off. Just realized I never posted the last day of veg pics. I took them on my camera but never got around to posting them. I'll get those up for sure.

Just need to grab those co2 bags soon. Oh yeah, the frisian dew is one day ahead of the 3 kings on flowering time. I really gotta say that doing two led grows at the same time has let me do a little extra experimenting and I believe the height of the light during veg plays a large roll in the structure of the plant's stems and stalk. Part could be because I'm running different genetics but this has been a common occurance in my grows. Just hadn't noticed it until I ran two grows with lights at different heights.

Here they are right before getting flipped to 12/12 on the 24th. They've been some of the more difficult plants I've grown, but I enjoy the challenge.

I'll get some updated pics up next. Probably going to take off a couple of the smaller bottom branches soon.

I haven't decided yet. I do plan on getting another 200w diamond series from advanced. likely for my next round. So I'm really debating on what I want to do after that because I plan to use my 180 extreme flower for vegging and two 200w DS for flowering...and then either adding a couple kessil h350s to that or doing a separate grow dedicated to something different like the mag+ or blackdog, or even something unproven like the solarstorm or apachetech. Damn I still don't know haha but I do know I love my advanced leds and that will be my next purchase. Yeah I was interested in those evo leds too until they tried to scam me, maybe it was just a case of mistranslation, but no way I was going to give them my personal information. Good luck in your search for a led, I know you've been looking for quite a while now.

On the fifth day of 12/12. Stretching occuring and bushing out a little more now too. Took off a couple lower branches and fan leaves, still may do some more gradual pruning of the lower sites as i feel is necessary. Will start bending over the tops as the stretching starts to ease so i can maintain head room plus i like getting the whole top colas completely under the led. messed around on my camera's settings that's why the second pic looks s little funky.
