i have 3 plants. i topped. and did some LST. so in each pot there is 4 branches of the one main.. i have a 125w grow light 2 26w cfl like 100 so i have about 325 watts and i water them good every 4 days.but there not getting any taller really.. any ideas?? its been abotu 4 months and they are like maybe a foot each branch.. is it not getting taller now because i toped them so each branch wont get so tall? like i took way the height when i topped them? so now the will be small and bushy?
my plants are like 4 months old and not very big.. helpp

Too many plants not enough light... for three plants you need atleast a 400 WATT HPS or a 600 wat hps if you want your plants to grow and faster... but keep in mind they make the room a little warmer. (this may be good if your plants are cold)
tell us about your setup so we know if something is wrong..
you need to check the water P.H level... if your using soil try to aim for a P.H between 6.5 - 6.8 if your using rockwool and hyrdo style its lower at 5.5 to 6.0
are you feeding enough nutrients or not enough?
what is the temperature in the room?..
how is the humidity?
is there a fan oscilating at medium speed?
if its hydro whats the E.C level of your nutrients?
how big is your room? how many pots and how big are the pots?... are you still veg or in flower? because at flower they focus more on making bud than growing.. etc.
how far are the lights from the plants? how long are the lights on for?... vegging.. 18 hours on 6 hours off... flower is 12 hours on 12 hours off. (undisturbed)
how long ago did you top them? sometimes certain strains stay in 'shock' for longer then recover.. sometimes a week to start growing again depending on conditions..
you need to explain yourself a little better if you want better answers... sounds like your plant is in a little stress if you topped and started LSD.. its not used to as its best to do that from seed to mature bloom before the stems and branches get thick!

Get a SOIL PH TEST KIT AND A WATER PH METER/PEN.
test the water before you feed it if you feed manually.. and the soil PH is very very important.. too high or too little will make the plants stop growing and die.. it has to be PERFECT. this is an overlooked issue by many new growers.
you lights should hang 'above your plants' between 18 and 22 inches away if its a 400 watt HPS bulb.. if your using CFLS they are much cooler so you can bring them closer to the plant.. CFL is your problem.. get youself a good lighting kit..
400 WATT HPS BULB + BALLAST should do just fine... keep them above the plants... they are dependant on light to grow!....
MH BULB IS TO VEG THE PLANT.
HPS BULB IS TO FLOWER/GROW (BEST OF BOTH WORLDS) but the hps bulb is more effective in the flower stage than veg because of the light spectrum.

Right u need more light bro.. saw the video looks good they are short because they are tied down.. let them recover .. the.more u lst the more.patient u have to be they need to recover before growing size again.. also u mentioned u dont know what strain they are.. Keep in mind that some plants dont grow so big some small n some tall. thats why u need.to know what u buy..

I'd say they just need more light, everything else seems fine, nice and green and healthy looking leaves so its not a food/water/pH problem.
Id only do one or two plants with what you have going now...remember 2 plants with lots of light will out produce 10 plants with poor lighting.

As far as for your plants some look over watered under nuted and under lighted!
My whole grow is 3 months maybe a little over sometimes but not much?
I like watering by hand it's more exact as when it needs or wants it. Let'em
dry better this stretches the roots and helps with growth.

they do look healthy i have some mircle grow in the watter i should let them dry out more i know this.. can someone recomend a good cheap better lighting system can i get a bulb for the thing i have now? i have to buy something total diffeent? any links would be awesome to the 400w kits.. what if i got like 4 more cfl 26w(100w) 6500k would that be better.. put them at all angles? should i take two plants out and just keep two with that light set up.. there is only 3 plants but 4 branches of each plant. that main one did crack pretty good.. but its doing the best of them all.. mayeb i should crack all the main stems like that? lol idk but this shit is small.. how many 26wcfl do i need to get these to grow.would it be cheaper than a 400w set up

If you get a 400 youll make your money back in bud and youll have made a good investment for the next grow. the yeild and quality will be improved, not sure what your running for ventilation but plants need co2 to breath, they wont grow if theres no fresh air.
You might be able to keep all three in there, train the 4 colas with some metal wire to keem them away from the others go for this shape Ill use l's to represent colas and O to represent the pots

thats kind how i have them in there now.. i have awindo open for fresh air.. in the room.. i spent like 130 bucks on that stupid fucking grow light and so far its 4 months and i have plants that most have in one month. if i knew i would of spent the 170 and bought the hps.. fucking horse shit so maybe if i put this grow light and an hps together that would be awesome??
Vegging plants don't require a ton of light to grow properly. Fifty watts per plant in veg placed at the correct distance will do you just fine. That 250 watt CFL you have will veg 4-5 plants if you bring it much closer to your foliage. CFL's should never be more than 4-6 inches away with 1-3 inches being ideal. So, just set that light down really close to your plants with nice air flow between light and plants (your leaves should always have slight motion due to air flow)and you'll be good to go for veg. Flowering is another story, more light intensity = more flowers.
well since i have 3 plants and 4 colas of each one its like having 12 plants? so i would neeed alllott more light??

Yes a 600w HPS in there if you can keep the temps down and youd be laughing, You do want to have some bud when all the waiting is finished right? put the money in and youll get a good harvest, really its worth it. You can buy a MH conversion bulb in a couple months and run the same things again using the MH for veg than switch it out for the HPS when its time to flower.
I think they look ready to flower though, if you keep waiting youll have no room
of course youll have to work on good ventilation before you put in a 600, have a small hole near the bottom and then an air mover fan at the top to push all the exhaust into the rest of the room. get a really small one cause itll be pretty noisy and Im guessin thats your bedroom closet or something so you probably wont want a vacuum cleaner sounds all day long

Here is a link to where I bought mine last week and I can already see a HUGE difference it is making. This is a 400W HPS for $119 and then you can always get a MH conversion bulb and use this same fixture for vegging under.
