very niece pal, what you think of the strain????

These are Nirvana Swiss Cheese and the strain has been PERFECT! This is my 1st grow and I'm sure my environment hasn't been perfect and I had some small challenges along the way. This is a great strain for indoors in a DWC setup. The growth was phenomenal from day 1 and I cannot believe the colas I have. I'm not sure what my yield is going to be but I can already tell you that it's gonna surpass my wildest expectations!

I also had a couple of GreenHouse Seeds G13 Haze that I planted at the same time. They did NOT respond as well as the Swiss Cheese. In fact I pulled the last one about 2-3 weeks ago because the Swiss Cheese was already forming heavy, dense colas and the Cheese . . . Not so much. They were about 2-3 weeks behind the Cheese.

Funny thing . . . my GF has a green thumb but has never grown cannabis. She cautioned me early about having realistic expectations and not to get my hopes up. She still cannot believe what I'm about to harvest. She is AMAZED and has started calling me Dr. Cannabis. LOL

You have some nice cool temps bro.
They could be higher so the plants get more CO2, but I'm sure you know that too.

That avatar is fuckin hilarious !!! lmao

Hey gang, not to hijack this journal too much, but since we're talking atmosphere; I have heard and read much wider ranges of acceptability for humidity than for temperatures. My temps are precisely controlled with a thermostatic heater set to trip if temps drop below 70 F and cut out at anything above 80 F - my humidity is crazy low though, sometimes dipping to 29%!?!?!. For you savvy growers and advice givers - what is the overall impact to a grow/harvest with such low relative humidity?

Try a humidifier and get the RH to 45-50%. Your daytime temps should be 80-85 degrees with a 10-15 degree drop in temp for night time. I would think that at 30% your leaves will be curling!!!

If you are running 12-1500PPM of CO2 you can let the temp go as high as 90-95 degrees (95 being the MAX)

Thanks for the input! I'll try some home fixes first, but any suggestions on grower tested humidifiers would definitely be helpful.

They all work. I used expensive ones and cheap ones from Wal Mart... Wal Mart has the 20 dollar "cool mist" humidifiers that work great. I live in AZ and I rarely use my humidifiers anymore unless I'm cloning..
