the weed i buy doesn't have seeds :'(
You are getting better weed then. If you want quality weed you need to buy your seeds. Using bag seed is not worth the time it takes to grow it. You can go cheap and just buy a few Feminized seeds the first time that will only run you $20-$30 and the finished product will be well worth it. You can even start with an auto flower plant that will finish quicker than your normal stuff. That's my opinion on it, but you decide what works best for you. Need help just ask.

you can get some nice cheap seeds sent right to your front door from sannies seed shop... they have some killer strains, and some great prices, like 10 seeds for around $50 or so..

hey, let me ask you this question before i recommend a strain for you.. do you like weed to knock you out, like a couch lock strain, or do you like more sativa, that soaring, clear headed, energetic high??
once we know that, we can help you pick out a nice strain to grow.. :)

How can i control the smell??
I thought about getting seeds from my dealer but my best friend said that they won't grow cause they might be old :/ :(
Ionizers can control the smell, they make filters, glade plug in fans, candles, inscents anything.if they are old seeds just soak them in water for two hours before you germinate. I think you should try a bag seed or cheap seeds before you buy seeds. There are a lot of rip off seed companies out there. racer boy and I can point you in the rite direction if you want to buy. I say use bag seed because you will make mistakes that can kill a plant. It happens to everyone and if you paid ten bucks for a seed it could also be a male and would be worthless. Once you able to get it all down and end up with smokable at the end, then I would try buying seeds. I don't mean to disrespect but you could try growing a tomato first (cheaper seeds) if you get fruit and it tastes good then try cannabis. Understand growing is not cheap it will take money to get good smoke. so its best that your able to produce before you go crazy buying seed.

Weed is not that difficult to grow, and spending three months of your time and money on something that isn't going to be good quality is a waste of time in my opinion. $20-$50 more to get high quality seeds is one of your lesser expenses yet makes all the difference in the finished product. You don't have to go crazy and buy 12 different strains and spend hundreds of dollars, but a few high quality seeds would make this project worth the effort. Why grow dirt weed when you can grow a Cannabis Cup Winner for a few dollars more. As far as odor, with just one or two plants like you mentioned it won't take much to get a small carbon filter and cover up the smell. Usually you don't have to really worry about that until you start to flower.

cool, you like sativa's, same as me for the most part, lol..
a nice sativa strain is c99.. the nice thing about it is it's sativa, which usually take forever and a day to flower, yet it finishes in like 50 days or so,which is crazy quick..
hmm, what else.. sannies jack is nice.. as is his killing fields.. hmm, oh yah, also from sannies site is chocolate rain, which is probably my number one smoke up till this time.. it's made by e$kobar and is simply amazing smoke, omg, soo good, lol..
sannies also sells a sativa mix pack that should be pretty good, i'd grab it, but i don't like not knowing what i'm growing..

So your going to tell a new person who has never grown it, her friends can't help her because they have never grown it to buy cannabis cup winners for top dollar. let me ask a question when you fist started growing did you go to attitude or get your seeds from a dutch breeder?how many times have you run into a problem that nearly killed a plant? miss one watering and the high dollar seed is dead. Bag seed can be kick ass if you know how to grow

sannies is good if you want to buy seed he gives you twice as much than anyone else. fast shipping, great customer service, and your pick of free seeds with every order.there is a description of every kind on his web page. Plus him and the open growers can give you all the advise you need on how to grow the strains. Don't disclose his shipping methods.

Yes, you act like $50 is going to break the world. I started with my favorite strain, Dutch White Widow, and turned out great. In fact I am growing the same strain right now. There is no reason any grower, first time or not, shouldn't grow great weed that they will enjoy. Bagseed can be decent if you get good bagseed. It's all in the genetics, always is. You, nor anyone else, can take shitty weed and magically make it awesome. It is a small expenditure that will be well worth it to have grade A smoke. You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars, you can buy a pack seeds for $50 and know exactly what you have.

I dont see anything wrong with bagseed grows. Any time I have grown out bagseeds it has been great weed. You need to realize that commercial growers dont start out with shitty seeds. What sense would that make? The problem is that they plant em and forget em which allows pollination and kills the quality of the bud. To dry their buds they cut the plants and let em dry in the sunn for a week and pack it and ship it. There is no curing happening whatsoever. You can buy the best genetics in the world and grow the way those guys grow and you will still end up with schwag. I have never had a bag seed dissappoint me yet. I have however been dissappointed by purchased seeds. A solid knowledge base and sound growing technique will make damn near any seed worth growing.

So, she has said that she likes Sativas. Why not hand pick the best Sativas. You are saying that your bagseed would be better than some purchased Grade A strains ? I'm not saying all bagseed will be awful. I am saying there is no way some $70 ounce of weed with seeds in it is going to be the same type of quality some Dutch White Widow would be. Impossible. Why not spend the extra $20-$50 for the better quality ???

If I grow out some bag seed properly and you grow out any strain you wanna pick the way that the mexican commercial farmers do I guarantee my bag seed will be better.

That's not the discussion. The debate is between purchased Grade A strains and bagseed. Period. So you take bagseed and I'll grow a nice purchased Dutch Widow and who's would be better ? It will only cost me $50 more to grow something twice as good. That is the point I have been trying to make. There are tons of first time growers that buy great seeds and finish with great weed. Just because this is a first time grower doesn't mean she should limit herself to free seeds of unknown origins. Thats my point.

I never said she should limit herself to anything. I was merely addressing your blanket statement about bag seed. Anyone who has ever grown bag seed knows that there are some treasures to be found. It is clear to me that you have never grown bagseed and in fact judging by most of the posts I have read from you it doesnt appear you have grown much of anything. I am done arguing this point with you. Happy growing.
