Trimmings have been in freezer over night

Clean bags with 91% alcohol in between uses, clean bucket as well.
ImportantMake sure ice is broken up really well, creating sharp edges to knock off trichomes.
Fill one bucket with ice water so when you pour into other bucket it doesnt melt the ice you've broken up.Try to get ice water to 32 Degrees
Put 220 micron bag first (work bag) and put a small layer of ice cubes at bottom.
Put frozen shake or trimmins ontop of the ice.
Pour more ice on top making sure theres no big pieces.
Put more frozen shake or trimmins on top of that.
And fill up with rest of ice.
Now pour your ice water into the bucket full of shake and ice cubes.
Mix up the ice and trimmins a bit to get an even mixture.
Now let sit and get ice cold, put a cover over bucket to keep the cold in. Let sit for about 20 minutes.
Begin to stir for about 5 minutes.
Now lift edges of bag up and let it sit so that trichomes can fall down to bottom of bag
Get pressing area ready.
Now begin strainin
You can take the leafs and trimmins after and use them again, mix it and strain it and you will get more hash but not as potent.
Or it can be used to make butter with.
Save green water and use next time with the same trimmins add more ice if needed.

When I got my bubble bags oh so many moons ago, a very useful accessory was a hand mixer, like the kind mama used to bake cakes from scratch. it provides the vigorous agitation needed to shear the trichomes off, but not so violent that you generate much fine leaf crush. It took patience though ... fifteen minutes of incessant holding the mixer went into my arms and shoulders. Got some sweeeet C99 bubble out of it though ... cn

Okay, this is where I get to talk shit: Subcool's how-to is lame, my ice water extraction are way better than his (tied for best in the world), and he will admit this if asked.

I'll address your post one idea at a time, in bold.

Clean bags with 91% alcohol in between uses, clean bucket as well.
Wrong, only if you want to buy new bags frequently. I wash my bags with iso about once a month. Spray them hard with cold water after use and they do not need solvents to keep clean

ImportantMake sure ice is broken up really well, creating sharp edges to knock off trichomes.
Super wrong!!! OMG! That is the opposite of what you want to do. I only use homemade large cube ice that has rounded edges. Too much agitation is already the problem with most extractions, this is horrible advice for top grade extractions.

Fill one bucket with ice water so when you pour into other bucket it doesnt melt the ice you've broken up.Try to get ice water to 32 Degrees
33 degrees is the coldest it will go, that is good advice. No one should be pouring anything. Rig your buckets up with drains, they cost a dollar.

Put 220 micron bag first (work bag) and put a small layer of ice cubes at bottom.
OMG never ever perform the agitation inside your bags. Good lord thats horrible advice straight from bubbleman. Agitating inside the bags ruins them. I've been using the same bags for years because I treat them well

Okay, thats a little silly but important is that this recipe is for dry trim. Fresh frozen doesn't need a long soak.
Begin to stir for about 5 minutes.

Now lift edges of bag up and let it sit so that trichomes can fall down to bottom of bag
Get pressing area ready.
OMG never ever press anything. This is horribly old school and just bad technique. 5 minutes stir? No way. I do two 15 minute agitations, pulling after each 15 minute wash.

Now begin strainin
You can take the leafs and trimmins after and use them again, mix it and strain it and you will get more hash but not as potent.
Or it can be used to make butter with.
Save green water and use next time with the same trimmins add more ice if needed.
Do not reuse that water, its full of contaminants. The second wash can be as high quality as the first, that really depends on if you keep it cold. Wow. that was worse than I anticipated. Use gravity to drain your agitation bucket into your bag. Never agitate in your bags.

Agitate in a bucket like this. Its actually two buckets. The top one has 100 little holes, the bottom bucket has the drain. Put this on some crates so you can use gravity to drain into your bags. These two buckets do not need any bags in them, just for agitation. The bags are the second step, a separate bucket with its own drain that goes to outside.
