with that size space and a 600 you could easily put in 10-12 plants if your going for a SOG method, you'll want to flower kind of early to avoid vertical issues. if you wanted to do a SCROG method though (what i use in almost thje same setup) you can get the same amount of bud with only 4-5 plants. but youll veg for 2-4 weeks longer because you will need to let the whole screen blanket evenly with green before you flower.

main tip I would give for lst .. is as soon as your clone is established and rooted well in its pot .. bend it 90 degrees over.. and tie it down.. if its still young and flexible she will bed right over and all the growth tips will turn for the light in a few hours to a day ... but if she is a little stiff.. just bend her over a little each day till you get her knocked all the way horizontal... the all the lower branches will get full light and turn into big tops.. then once the original tip grows all the way to the edge of the pot .. i start tying it around in a coil shape.. hopefully you get what im saying.. but this works well for me .. and you can keep the plant perfectly even on the canopy and make it as wide as you want to fit your space perfectly ... If you want max yield the most important thing is once your 12/12 ... ALL of your grow area is full of canopy .. and once you have it completely filled in .. trim away anything really low on the plant that is not getting light... If you do this you will have no wasted b quality buds.. it will be all nice solid tops. This method works really well with hybrids and sativa's as well.. because you can get sooo many budsites within your lighting .. instead of just a few tops on 6 foot stretched plants...

SOG is killer .. if you dont have to worry about plant limits.... Someday lol. Its a bitch growing em big .. but in cali .. the difference between 6 and 18 plants.. is jail time.. maybe .

Scrog is awesome as well.. If I had a way to secure a screen in my space I prob would .. but I grow semi perpetual so it would be a bitch.

One thing ill touch on and you might already now this ..and im sure Knourgro does.. but .. plant count means nothing in yield... its all about filling your entire canopy of your grow space.. if you do that with 4 or 40 plants it really doesnt matter.. all that changes is veg time .. Thats why ideally SOG is great because you can just fill the canopy with multiple plants.. instead of vegging big mammas into the space.. So it all depends on your circumstances ..

gr8 answers lads thanx so much, gives a lot of food for thought i will av to look up the diference between sog and scrog ? i deffo like the idea of training it like u sed let it grow a little bend 90 degrese and keep the bud sites somwhat even which sound gr8 plus the little twist thing i will learn about once it gets to the edge of the pot, its just on my last to grows the cannopy is uneven on my girls this way i can controll that and hopefully maximise light to bud and hence bigger buds, plus i have a hight limit of 2 meters so lst will help keep the size down, i think i hear what ur saying about less veg time the more u av so then would this mean just concentrate on the tops if i did say 8 or i am better doing 4 and LST them, buy the way should i be using a net across the canopy ? i av 8 fem beans on order 3 fem skunk#1 from sensi seeds and 5fem vannila kush from barneys via attitude seeds ! ur tips were just what i like it sound the way THE LST way that is, thanx man for ur input !

SOG: using many plants to create a single blanket of buds, only main and secondary colas are kept on the plant as everything else will be shaded and a waste of energy, no screen here

SCROG: uses fewr plants to achieve same amount of tops, all colas that can reach the height of the net by flowering are kept, the rest are cut. you put up a screen about 1 ft from the top of ur pots and as the top leaves start to peek through, you move tyhem out to the next hole in the net horizontaly, then the new node will sprout and take its place until it is ready to be moved a space and repeat until your whole net is an even canopy, then flower.

LST: low stress training, basically achieves the same thing as a scrog but your not reliant on a net to hold buds in place, also convienent becuz you can mopve your plants around where you want where as with a scrog once there through the wholes you cant remove them.

all of these methods work great, its just personal prefrence as to which ones right for you and your setup. i will say that my fav is the SCROG (as you can see mine as my avatar) because you can control every movement of the plant and also the buds can get super heavy during flowering because there not rellying on the stem for support but instead are laying on the screen.

again man gr8 info man ! thanx for pointing it out to me how each method works, deffo gonna try one of them thats for sure as i have add 3 grows under my belt now so no a little bit and i love ur scrog setup in ur avatar it looks rearly proffesional hence the reason i want to move up a gear now and start maximising my grows, again thanx a mill for explaining it to me man as i now no the diference between the LST/ SOG / AND UR METHOD SCROG. peace out man !
