Okay, So on top of me killing off just about every spidermite I had, now I have fungus gnats which I will be getting that fixed tomorrow with some sand, but I also have another bug as well that I think could be Thrips. Anyone with experience with them, please let me know your advice and how to get rid of them organically please.

In the photo the bug is near the center of the leaf. Sorry for such bad nerves, which caused the blurry photo.

I'll just get those cans for bugs and let it run for like 4 hours while I'm out and about. lol. I really cannot afford to have these kinds of problems with my next grow.

i believe i had those, but i had azamax laying around so i used it,if i didnt i prolly would have bought mighty wash...

but if you are low on money right now,try calicleaner by calibuzz, its in the sticky thread up top...

i did one spray session of azamax on all of my plants, then cleaned the whole room sprayed everywhere in the room without plants inside.

then i vacuumed and put the plants back in,set everything back up.

next day i just pulled the plants from under the light and misted clean water on them. before i did this i did see a few more bugs, but i didnt expect the azamax to work in one little session, granted i didnt make a potent dose because a lot of the plants are still small.

and also i have a good supply of air flow for them..

day 3,i was bored so i decided to buy a 1500pack of ladybugs for 10$ at the local nursery..

they have been all over the plants and in the soil...

i also put damp tissue and cotton balls around for the lady bugs to drink water.will be putting them back in the cup with alt. feeding for them.

so far everything is better.

the best way to solve the issue is consistancy and multiple methods.like many have said the mites and bugs build up immunities to solutions,so try n use a variety.

and have 1on1 with each plant rather then just misting the solutions everywhere..lol

looks like thrips to me - We get them every year where I live. Spray all your plants top and bottom with a product that contains spinosad then do a systemic treatment with azamax every other feeding for 3 weeks and things will be fine.

i also have thrips, do you have a ratio reccomendation for the azamax ? and i know what systemic means, but do u mean to combine the azamax with ur standard nute solution or reservoir, or mix it sepreatley with RO water and feed one day with just that? and by every other feeding do you mean every other day? or every other week? or once a week sepreatley? lol. just need to know, this method is the best answer I've seen, and i really need to get rid of these thrips. i use hydroton and cocoa in a drain to reuse system i built myself, altho obviously i can do a onetime feed with a azamax RO solution and rinse the rez for each system. so let me know, I've heard good things about spinosad as well ,but can't seem to find any products at my local store that contain it, any recommendations there? i would appreciate it, like i said this is a big issue and i can't afford to have thrips anymore! I've even tried spraying like crazy with safer soap then using diamacecous earth i nthe media and dusting it on with a feather duster, STILL THRIPS! so please, anyone, help save my beautiful strains, they are my pride and joy in life.

Got to agree with djburns1.
I don't know of a good organic remedy. Neem will help but I think you have them too bad.
I've had them several times. I rotate a spinosad (Conserve) or Azamax. 3 apps of either one will usually kill them all. Next time they show up use the other the other product because they can develop a tolerance.
The nopest strip also works really well, but some people will not use them. I will use them in veg only, but rinse afterward.
Tried 2 or three other organic based sprays too but was not impressed with any of them.
Good luck, they can be a bitch to get rid of and really hurt your yield.

I can't advise you on the ratio. The directions w/azamax say to use 1/4 to 2 Tbs per gal for a recirc system. A guy on another thread (can't remember which one) recommended only 1 mil per gal. So that is quite a range. I have never been brave enough to use it that way.
I only spray. I use the middle strength...about 1 Tbs. per gal. I don't worry so much about the undersides although I don't ignore them. Both products are systemic so they will soak in.
Here is a spinosad available in the US...don't know about Cali though.

i use 2.5 ounces of azamax with 5 gallons of nute solution. I grow in 3 gallon pots and canna coco and I feed once every other day so it is like twice a week for 3 weeks that I use azamax systemicly and I always have excellent results
I hope this helps.
As a precaution I treat all my plants like this when I move them to the flower room and I have never had a problem develop in flower

a local hydro shop told me he uses 1oz of azamax solution to a gallon of water.for spraying...but said he doesnt water with it because its too expensive for him that way.

Well, I think I might just take a loss to the yield on this grow because I'm just about done anyways, but it's always good to know for future reference, I appreciate it everyone.

thanks djburns and evlMunkee, definitely helps. i think I'm gonna do some spray and systemic with azamax on a similar schedule, light on the systemic ratio, heavy on the spray, and use that until i find a spinosad based product. i got HAM with a spectricide sprayer on the undersides especially munkee, i have declared a holy war again all garden pests. I've had gnats mites and now thrips a ll this summer, and i still managed to not let them affect my harvests! FUCK THE BUGS. thanks for the advice, i will let al know how this works, i hope this serves as a standard thread for THRIP advice, bc there doesn't seem to be any particularly informative ones other than this. u probably just saved my ass

Threres a product that lowest/home depot carry that has spinosad as the main ingredient. The maker is Monterey and I could only find it in a lawn application bottle. Used 2 tbsp in a gallon sprayer and it knocked the thrips out in 2 applications.
