Operation Christmas Ganja 2011

If you could keep the bud from one of the plants, which one would you take??

Ho ho ho, ho's,
Christmas will soon be around the corner... I invite you to observe my yule tide grow room for personal supply of ganja for this winter season, and if you have pics I invite you to share your own.

-OCG-

equipment:
-2x2x3.5 ft tent
-200w CFL for 2 weeks
-250w MH for 2 weeks, plus one week of flowering
-250w HPS for rest of flowering 7-8 weeks(?)
-4" fan
-4 x 2 gallon pots
-4 plants
-Grapefruit Kush (Emerald triangle)
-Emerald Jack (" ")
-Kushage (TH Seeds)
-S.A.G.E. (" ")
-unsure of details of 4" can fan (re:CFM) and filter size and brand but trust me its working smoothly, just nevermind.
- muffler box for fan: cardboard, car audio soundproofing, aluminum foil layers, as you will see i did a shit job putting it on, it doesnt fit right but is intended for use in a larger place in the future.

-plants are entering flowering the day the photos were taken, going on a 12/12 with MH for a week before finishing with HPS for the rest of the time, will be picked when trichomes are 90% mostly cloudy give or take. All seeds were feminized.

-currently going medical but it seems to take forever to see the specialist, this process could take years, but fuck it if i have to be a "criminal" to take the pain away.

by the way, constructive criticism is welcome! I know the muffler is fucked up, though, so I'm not oblivious, but will use it again next time hopefully somewhere where I can fit it in. I/We might even take the shelf off to make it fit right(?). The target for having this bud dried is Christmas '11. It's just for personal use. I will try to do weekly updates. Please follow mine, and post yours too!

also don't forget to vote in my poll. I don't know what to vote yet so i will wait until buds form, right now emerald jack is doing the best with growth, but I know kushage won the cannabis cup so, and sage is related to it. grapefruit kush is supposed to be able to yield over 2 lbs in the right environment (which obviously this is not). haha, watch this shit get overcrowded I wonder...

also anyone think i should tie these guys down or scrog or is it too late being in flowering now????

really? Ohh ya I almost forgot, there are a few rolls of pennies taped on to provide weight to prevent the yoyo's from pulling the light up higher than i want it. I may roll ghetto, but I keep things sterile, at least to some extent. :) I will try to upload again when there is a bit of flowering going on. Anyone else have christmas bud on the way?

do you see the picture of my babes in the tent? Well they grew even larger overnight! superthrive works like a charm but I am finding I do not have much space. the leaves are growing into the tent walls being pushed into mylar. is it too late to tie down? too late for space saving techniques.,,, what do i dOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!? help for +rep

i have a med card luckily, so i get to puff year round.but yes i have a harvest due on 12-12-2011 8^) my whole family is cool so we gonna have a merry xmas with some "yule" log's roastin all night long.

so i tucked some of the fan leaves under the bud sites gently and i hope this doesnt stress them, on the grapefruit kush I am doing a controlled experiment using twist ties to see if the plant reacts with stress

I use twist ties to tie my ladies down with. Its great because you can get a spool of it for real cheap and cut it to whatever length you want. I also use it to hang my buds on their strings to dry

Update

tomorrow morning the ladies are getting their first taste of flowering nutes, on their 3rd day of flowering. I will wait until day 6 or 7, or until they start to show their sex, whichever is sooner, to switch to HPS as advised by HT mag ganja grower, seeing as they are all indica dominant, not waiting for the 2nd week.

the bud sites are starting to branch out for light and lateral growth is more notable than any vertical growth. I do have a bit of vert space to play with so might raise the lights just an inch or so but want to prevent them from getting too tall in my 2x2x4 space, in reality probably cannot exceed 2 3/4 feet per plant from soil to top measurement.

no signs of sex yet but hoping my feminized seeds hold true, temps may have been high for a few hours here or there but no sign of heat stress

they are thirsty and have been drying up fast within 1.5 days usually checking weight of pot before rewater/feeding

no signs of stress yet, they are happy and lush

all is well, and my ladies and I await an exceptionally cannabinoid christmas

Hi mate really nice thread!i got allmost the same setup but the tent is lil bit bigger but i cannot understand wheres your ventilation fan?im surely gonna follow your grow-op bcuz my ladies are in the same growth stadium :) rep+mate
