Tips of leaves yellowing usually is a sign of nute burn bro....so u should acctually just water your plants without any nute solution...if the prob persists u should flush the plants.....some pics would help......Peace

Right now I have my little week old plants in small pots that dry out very fast so I water 2-3 times a day. Don’t think heat is a problem because it never goes over 80f and is usually in the 75-77f area. For light im using an incandescent 160watt light (2 feet away from plants) a 13watt and 15watt florescent (1 foot away from plants).. Its not my PH because my tap waters ph is good. Also I haven’t given them any fertilizers yet but the potting soil im using dues have slow release fertilizer.. is this ok?

you should not be watering like that. no reason to ever water you plant two or three times a day. no slow release is not good. doupt your ph is around 6.7 out of the tap either. incandescent dont do jack shit either so take those down. sounds like you might need to read a little more

iv got my fertilizer. just wondering when is a good time to start giving them fertilizer (my plants are only a week and a half old) and how often and how much of it to give to the plants. iv got 2 types one is 10-15-10 and the other 2-7-7.

check your PH. a friend had the same problem, he had a very low N defecency. His PH was almost 8 and that's right out of the tap. If your adding nutes to your water, check your ph after you add them. Also, you should check your ph as it runs out of your plants.

good luck

Uses the Rollitup profile
Overferting. A tip that is brown is the first sign. If the tips curl, then it's more advanced. It could also be that it is too hot, or that there is not enough fresh air.

I just put my plants into flowing a week ago. I am using good dirt and organic fertilizer. I have noticed the top of the plants tips are abit lighter green, almost a yellow. I am thinking I may have had them too close to the lights, I have the T5 red . Any thoughts

I THINK THEY BOTH ARE 2 DIFF. STRANDS (THEY ARE LEFT OVER SEEDS) SO YES A MYSTERY GROW. SO THEY BOTH POPPED AT THE SAME TIME.. FED EM THE SAME.. Started with NUTRI PLUS LINE OF NUTES.. 1st WEEK HALF STRENGTH AND 2nd Week DOUBLED.. THEY ARE IN ROCK EOOL CUBES lil the bigger cubes..3 x A DAY WATERING 30 minutes.. Under 2 T8s 1 COOL 1 WHITE AND 2 T5s.. 18/6.. I stopped feeding them (to see if they were too wet) and switched lightin to 24. 1 BABY GOT WRINKLED UP AND ALMOST DIED BUT I SAVED HER FLUSHING THE NUTES WITH CLEAR PLUS FLUSH.. AND I HOPE SHE GETS BETTER IMA TAKE THE 18/6 SCHEDULE FROM A 2 DAY 24 LIGHT SCHED & JUST WATER PH UNDER 6.0 wat am I doing wrong:cry:

If the yellowing bits are crispy they're probably too hot, if they're floppy and pale i'd say it's N deficiency. There's a chance it's overwatering too, how often do you water, and how much?

id say overwatering/light burns as i nuted my plants 2 days ago and they were close to the light and i had these symptoms which was due to <<
