All are doing well now. One is a monster! Going to 12/12 this week. Hope they don't outgrow my tent!

Pics or else!lol! So what were the main improvements you made to get good growth??? Peace
Lowered thermostat on A/C. All plants are on FF nutes now. The monster was a male. Darn it! 8 males out of the grow, 10 females.

I have 4 plants (only intended 3... but pics 5,6, 9, and last r in metal pot) i call it the " retard" b/c i never intended for it to grow. i added more cfl's and the thing came to life. pics = 1, 4, 7, 9,and 10 are the 2 that give me problems sometimes. pics 1,4 especially (b/c they r the same) give me the most trouble. pics 2 and 8 are short & stout. those 2 plants; the 1 in metal pot and the stout 1 hasn't given me no trouble yet.

PIC 3 IS WHAT THE 2 PLANTS THAT GIVE ME TROUBLE LOOKED LIKE 6 DAYS AGO....before i transplanted them....which stresses them + 1 had fertilizer burn, and 1 had heat burn...both recovered. plus on the east coast we had a lot of humidity....now it down :)

WHATS WIERD IS THE PLANT IN THE METAL POT HAS GROWN IN A Y- formation....like i hear when ppl. cut/top or bend them so the grow in 2 different directions instead of the plant developing 1 set of fan-leaves on top of another. idk why it formed this way....i did not do anything but transplnt....maybe during my handling it did something ( but it's good).

Sorry im going off on a tangent....i concur w/ others it might be the heat....REALLY READ/CLICK THE LINK- IT HELPS A LOT. I have 5 42watt 1 25 watt and another 42watt on order. i need to but a Y-SPLITTER SOCKET 4 the 25watt today and add the 42 watt to it when it arrives. so out of the 5 i have way over 15,000 lumens for a small space and 3 plants & 1 unintended. 4 cfl's are 2700k, 1 is 5000k and the one on order is 5000k. since one can use HPS for flowering they also, from all that i have read, be used thru-out it's growth cycle. plus i like to mix it up...just like some mix metal halide and hps thru-out. but one cannot use metal halide thru-out tho.

i have the 1 that gives me the most trouble out of the 2 that do in a window now for natural sunlight.....and it's recovering. same happen yesterday. i moved my light clamps over and it got better. then i passed out last nite ~smoking w/ 2mg klonopin does that LOL) ~ and woke up @ 3:45am ....i shut the lights off b/c im on a 18/6 cycle. well it curled and over all looked stressed & wilted. now its better again.

I HAVE 1 BIG FLOOR FAN THAT ROTATES.....FOR CIRCULATING THE AIR & STRENGHTEN THE STEMS, + a small desk-like fan i put next to the plants as an exhuast for heat from cfl's- they do give off heat. + i have an AIR PURIFIER W/ AN U/V button that kills any airborne germs, bacteria, cigarette smoke etc. anything 2 MICRONS AND LARGER IT WILL FILTER.

I USE M.G SOIL premium w/ time released capsules...guess their some type of polymers. The soil ph ranges from 5.5 to 7.0 (7.0 is high) i called Scott's M.G and asked. Now I know better next time i'll use Fox Farm. but M.G will work if thats all u have. I also have DR. Earth's organic 4-4-4 which can be spinkled on the soil & watered or used as a tea. it has good bacteria. i made the mistake to mute them toooo soon. also i use WORM CASTING...it's great and has many good properties aside from just being nutrious and good for ur plants devlopment. Also Shultz's African Violet 8-14-9 (i do not recommend, its for acid loving plants. it was free + it's high in P which i believe is good for flowering).

PLEASE, IF ANYONE CAN OFFER ADVICE OR CORRECT ME....PLEASE DO SO! I need all the help i can get too. i would never want to mislead anyone...i am a noob. also i read u might want to spray the under leaves; the stomas are there. I ALSO USE DISTILLED SPRING WATER.....B/C IF U USE TAP WATER( conatins chlorine) IT WILL KILL THE GOOD BACTERIA that breaks down the nutes or food so ur plant can use it.

I HOPE I HELPED IN ANY WAY. BEST WISHES & HAPPY GROWING.....GO GREEN...........................joey:leaf: SORRY THE SITE MADE ME LOG IN AGAIN SO THE PICS DIDN'T SHOW UP IN IT'D PROPER SPACE RELATIVE TO THE COMMENTS.....AGAIN MY APOLOGIES

I have experienced the "claw' from some plants the ones that do this are HAZE strains they are outdoor strains, so being it was indoor I put outside, and the "claw" vanished, and to prove it was light, I put the claw in right under a 600 watt and it flurished, so it can be many reason but if you are freeding it right and other plants are doing well, try sticking it outside and watch how it responds. Read the breeders information make sure if it say's outdoor, then expect problems if you grow it inside. Also expect problems if plant is not native to your area, the will revert it is a know mystery.

Heat problems then???
Seems so. I also raised the lights a few days later when a couple plants started getting obvious leaf burn. It's hard to be sure exactly what caused the curl, as I changed several factors. All signs of curling and leaf burn have disappeared. Did get a little calcium def going on, but Cal-Mag fixed that right up. I now add Cal-Mag every feeding at 1/2 strength.

Got to be heat then, raise lights and it goes away. Air wxchange or circulation with a fan is good too. Glad its sorted bro sounds like there gona grow well from now on, fingers crossed!lol! Peace

Joey in a nutshell your problems are-

1. Sh!t lights
2. Wrong soil, seedling soil with perlite at the least for seedlings
3. Smaller pots to prevent you overwatering
4. No ferts needed for a long time, if youv'e added ferts youve screwed them
5. Probably too hot for them as well

Sorry to be so blunt just keep on learning and reading up bro you'll get there in a few more grows. Peace
