Dried pot a little too much

We just had a heat wave and my pot dried to the point where it crumbles pretty easily. I was thinking about leaving it outside overnight in paper bags to give it just a little moisture. I dried it outside and noticed that each morning the bud would be moist compared to the end of the previous day. Should I attempt this? I really don't see any harm because if it gets too moist I will just reverse the effects.

don't put lettuce or orange peels in your weed!! You'll cause all kinds of problems. It'll cahnge the taste and it can cause mold real easy if your not careful.Your idea of setting it out in paper bags is the best idea so far. If that doesn't work , they make humidity packs nowdays for that. If you can't find those and nothing else is working, you can put a white corn tortilla in it, and check ,it every few hours. That'll work without causing mold, or changing the taste. Good luck!

I did this last year with Orange peels after reading this suggestion on RIU. It transfers the moisture very quickly from the peel to the bud (too fast) and all the oils with it. I had a batch of weed that tasted like I was smoking orange peels.

I've always had good luck with just wetting a cpl qtips squeeze excess water out and putting them n bag with the dry bud. Bout an hour later buds are good to go.

I mite try the corn tortilla idea if leaving it outside in paper bags does not work out. I'm just glad to hear that I didn't ruin the buds by over-drying. Can't wait to enjoy this nice purple stuff lol.

Yesterday afternoon I put my pot in paper grocery bags and set it out on my lush lawn in the shade. The grocery bags had tortillas and fresh green leaves inside. After a few hours the pot was just where I wanted it. Now its just a little spongy without being so brittle. Thanks for all the tips, you guys rock!!!

Oh and my friend told me to just piss on my weed and that it will not be so dry plus it will smell danky......

P.S. just use a flower tortilla, you won't be sorry.
