Its hard to say the rule of thumb is 1pound per light and a perfect setup is 2per light
Remember more plant dont mean more weight less in alot of ways means more

well how big ar your plants and what size pots? 16 is way to many considering if you were going with one gallons I would go with more than 16 and 3 gallons are bigger i would go with 10 or less

I have a 1000W. light in a 8 x 8 room and 16 plants flowering all at once is probably too many. You'll be OK if you only grow
something small with a single large cola. Most auto-flowerers would fit the bill for you. Otherwise, if you plan a regular grow
think about maybe just 9 plants. Trust me, by the time you are 4-5 weeks into flowering you will still have a jungle to
navigate. Visualize your room with 4 rows of 4 plants. See the back row? How are you going to water those gals, eh?
(I have a large funnel with 4 feet of clear tubing attached as a long-distance waterer). So don't get greedy all at once.
Keep the garden down to manageable size and you will enjoy the grow a lot more.

Good luck, BigSteve.

x4 600 = 2400watts with 13 plants in a ebb and grow, on my last grow was 3 3/4 pounds and thats with 600 not 1000s
and with heat issues

I did between 1.5 to a bit over 2 per light. Plants were lolli-popped (One large Main Cola ea.), and had 72 on a table with three 1Ks over them.

growdan crutons and its flood and drain
so you just fill your tray up wth crutons and then burrie your cubes in there? whats your ph at. do you use the tri metter that reads the ph 24/7? I really want to run 1 of my 4x4 trays with 15 plants 4 inch cubes in the crutons side by side with my soil grows. only thing is how can you have them on deck vegging so your next crops ready? you would have to water by hand like twice a day in your veg room?

3 rows of 3 1 and a quarter ounce per plant got your 1 pound per light. I do that as well
?
3x3=9
9x1.25 = 11.25
11.25 is not a pound.

Personally I think a pound from 1000w would be a lot. I'm not saying it can't be or isn't done, but it would be a damn good yield imo.
Real estate is the issue. Different reflectors/hoods can make a big difference but I think it would be difficult to get 16 good sized plants under 1000w.

If done properly (strain plays a big part always, as do many other things) 1 gram per watt is what you are looking for. So a little under 2.25 lbs per 1000w light. Getting a lb would be easy even with major problems. I would say the average is 1.25-1.75lb per light.

im using a flood and drain EBB&GROW the buckets are 2 gal
I let my PH dirft between 5.6 to 6.0 I never add down till it
hit 6.0 I use blue lab gaurdain tri meters

for veging plant I use a 4x4 flood table in 6x6 pots and 4x4 growdan blocks
