Grapefruit Haze from Next Generation is the truth!!! When I first started growing, a guy gave me 2 plants that he had reverted back to veg. after flowering them. Because of this my yields weren't great, but it was tasty smoke. Enjoy!!!
now THATS what i wanted to hear, this plant is gonna have a mean ass harvest, im glad someone could give me some feedbaCK ON IT, I WAS JUST GOIN OFF OF INTERNET REVIEWS THUS FAR, the GH's cola is no joke, i swear its gonna be like 20 Gs just by itself dry. (hopefully) or more....

UPDATE day 31 of flowering

so the LA CHEESE is still doing good, budding all over, its funny tho, the plant doesnt have much aroma, and shes actually not too sticky either, has anyone ever had this problem, i mean if u separate the nugs and smell the middle u get a liiiiiittle bit of aroma but not too much, and not sticky at all, am i just trippin?..it should be all gooey and reek by this stage (from previous grows i remember), anyways, she looks bomb...HPIM1413.jpgHPIM1415.jpgHPIM1414.jpgHPIM1412.jpg

the silver diesel is finally starting to do something after weeke 4 lol, she doesnt have any aroma or anything either but u can easily see the nugs trying to form now...HPIM1420.jpgHPIM1419.jpg

the new champion in the line up i would have to say is the grapefruit haze, she has aroma, and dense and sticky. the cola on top has to be seen in person to really appreciate it, its so elusive to capture in a photo, but i try still.lolHPIM1417.jpgHPIM1419.jpgHPIM1418.jpgHPIM1416.jpg

This is only my second grow and i really don't know what to expect sense my first was a bust. just give it some time i'm sure things will work out. I know how it feels only havin a couple more weeks to go. I'm hopin this last two or maybe even three weeks if i have to go there will make a difference. IMPORTANT UPDATE- super fuckin stoked!!!
ok so ive been having some heat issues with this little cabinet and trying to keep it under 85 degrees. as u all have seen in the last post i said that the nugs arent as juicy and odorous as id like, well i called the local hydro store and explained why my "tomatoes" fruits were getting druy and arid and not juicy enough, he knew the whole time i was talking about bud but you know... so the first first thing he asks is, whats ur temps, i tell two separate guys 85-88 and they both are like "thats the problem" so instead of risking fuckin this batch up by just waiting for them to bulk up or ripen up with time ive devised a beautiful A/C jimmy-rigged system, i had an extra 86CFM pc fan alying around so i wired it up, cut an additional hole on the side of the cabinet and screwed the pc fan to bring in fresh air (the black little fan screwed the wall on the left)
HPIM1425.jpg

then on the outside of the cabinet i fit some extra 4" ducting i had in the cut out and hot glue gunned it in place, thus creating a fan intake and where ever the end of the 4" ducting is will be the source of air im pulling in.HPIM1421.jpg

and since i had a window AC like 2 feet away i just ran the open end to pull in air right around where the AC spits out the cold air, i have the AC running @ night anyways cuz it gets hot up in this corner of the house anyways, plus the lights are on while the AC is on...works perfect...HPIM1423.jpgHPIM1422.jpg

now the temps went from 88f probably around 90-93 @ the tops down to a beautiful 73-75f...HPIM1426.jpg

so basically i think what was happening was the buds were just getting too dry from the heat and not producing any juicy, it all would dry up before it had a chance to thicken...i cant wait to see the difference with the ladies now...fuck yea!..i love fixing shit especially when no money or parts, just my sawz-all, brain, drill and like 35 minutes..AWESOME!

Hey Maz,

Looking good my friend!!! That LA Cheese looks soooo yummy. The Grapefruit Haze also looks bomb... should have some dank nug soon. Anyway thanks for getting back to my message, I ended up going down to that dispensary last week, pretty tight place actually. Unfortunately for me they didn't have any LA Cheese clones at the time, but I did pick up 2 Blue Dream clones, 1 Yumboldt clone, and 1 Casey Jones clone. I also picked up some bud -- some Blue Dream, Trainwreck, and Romulan. OMG THE TRAINWRECK IS TO DIE FORRRRR

I like your jimmy-rig to get your temps down. That should help the plants thicken up a bit, especially as you get closer to harvest. The presence of colder air should hopefully make the plant think fall is coming and want to fatten up so that it can 'mate' before it 'dies'. I was planning on making a grow box similar to yours and linking to a window A/C just like you have. It seems more efficient, cheaper and easier to control temps in an enclosed box rather than a whole room. My lil issue is that I have a 1000w with a huge hood. Probably the biggest hood on the market actually. LOL

Anyway keep up the good work Maz. Looking forward to the harvest!!!

mr.bond and mr,natural, thanks alot guys, yea the temps have definitely dropped, the reason the buds were getting dry and arid was cause my temps were too high and very low humidity, im @ like 79F/50% right now, couldnt be better, im just waiting on the plants to adjust to the temp/humidity change and bounce back...im thinkin in the next 3 or 4 days i hope... plus the guy at the grow store gave me some mad farmer silica shield which is 0-0-3 npk but it has some minerals in it that fight agaianst heat, cold and humidity stress, i am giving them some next feeding and im sure that wiull catapult the plants back in tip top shape!...im not postin pics until im satisfied with the outcome tho,lol...plus im about to hit the gym...

mr.natural which pic are u talking about??

hey thanks nature, yea man, it worked out fuckin bad ass, im SOOOO happy the problems are all solved, u know how it is...its like your at work and trippin and curious to jam home and see how they are...lol...its at such a steady 79 degrees and about 45 - 52% humidity its almost comical, the LA CHEESE pistels were getting a little brown almost like they were changing but i was fooled and they were just shriveling just a tad due to the heat, i looked today and the pistols had regained that rich silver/white color back and crazy thick like medusa on each nug lol..the juiciness is returning and the LA CHEESE along with the grapefruit smell soooo dank my man. fuck yea!im stoked i figured it out at barely flower week 4ish...i have minimun 4 more weeks for them to plump up and 100% return to original health... and i am pretty sure they are 2.5 gallon, i cant remember cause the guy @ the store had sold out of 2 gallons and gave me whatever size he had for the same price....i oalways heard a foot per gallon and also a month per gallon on the size but...i kinda like the foot per gallon idea better... i think at 28 inches tall im pretty much in the sweet spot with my size pots...dang i wish my cheap mother fuckin ass digital camera took macro shots, youd see what i mean

UPDATE DAY 38 of flowering...

so i have eliminated all my heat issues and been feeding the plants a small dose of silica solution every water to help them bounce back and they are doing beautiful and juicy, im very stoked on the results, my humidity is at 55% but i have good airflow and 2 fans blowing the air around in circles and the exhaust system has a new mini turbine fan exclusively for the light hood. works bomb...77 down low on the cabinet and 79-80 degrees at the top by the light...heres some pics and i havent been around for a minute so i hope some peeps notice a difference

ALSO...i am real fuckin pumped up about recieving a confirmation E mail that my seeds have been shipped and on their way!... on the way i have some feminized vanilla kush, super lemon haze and pineapple chunk along with a feminized freebie. i was going to build a temporary veg cabinet/box but fuck that, its too hot up in southern cali right now...its been 85+ every day and im not gonna risk baking these seeds so ill germ them in my air conditioned cabinet as soon as these 3 are done...

so what do u guys think???

all these 3 plants are about 30 or so inches from soil to the tops

heres the LA CHEESE, i love this plant but she was the first to get heat stress and is bouncing back full steam ahead...HPIM1444.jpgHPIM1443.jpgHPIM1445.jpg

ok and here is the grapefruit haze, she reeks like a motherfucker and is extremely healthy!..no matter what i do with these cheap camera i cant get a macro shot but believe me in person the top on this plant is huge and bulky and imposing....HPIM1447.jpgHPIM1450.jpgHPIM1449.jpgHPIM1448.jpgHPIM1446.jpg

and the silver diesel...shes huge and flowers slow as fuck, if she has quality herb in the long run it will be a good harvest as u can see...HPIM1452.jpgHPIM1454.jpgHPIM1453.jpgHPIM1451.jpg
