anybody tried the AN's 3-part jungle juice line?

designed as a replacement for the GH- part line (whic I use now). its new for 2011 so I havent found a lot of user reviews. their marketing campaign is very convincing and the price is right (less than or equal to GH's price).

and this would be an easy switch for me; no need to learn a whole new regimen. less complicated than the other AN lines.

anyone want to share their experince with AN Jungle Juice?

(i searched the forums on this and didnt find anything. sorry if this is old ground.)

AN already had a 3 part system that was a copy of GH's formula. Maybe this is just rebranding an existing product? Anyways, their site claims it's a straight knock-off of GenHydro's formula (http://www.advancednutrients.com/junglejuicegmb/) but according to Amazon, Jungel Juice is still more expensive.

AN's One gallon prices:

Micro $35: http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Nutrients-Jungle-Juice-Micro/dp/B00584L41W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310488542&sr=8-1
Bloom $34: http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Nutrients-Jungle-Juice-Bloom/dp/B00584M06K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310488542&sr=8-1
Grow $34: http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Nutrients-Jungle-Juice-Grow/dp/B00584LL60/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1310488542&sr=8-3

GenHydro's One gallon prices:

Micro $34.73: http://www.amazon.com/FloraMicro-1-Gallon-General-Hydroponics/dp/B000E1VZVI/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1310488796&sr=1-1
Bloom $30.98: http://www.amazon.com/FloraBloom-1-Gal-General-Hydroponics/dp/B000E1RPQC
Grow $28.91: http://www.amazon.com/FloraGro-1-Gallon-General-Hydroponics/dp/B000E1PJWO/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1310488917&sr=1-1

From their website http://www.advancednutrients.com/junglejuicegmb/ Advanced Nutrients says

The fact is, neither Jungle Juice Grow-Micro-Bloom™ nor General Hydroponics Flora Grow-Micro-Bloom are exactly what your high-value plants need. Here's what these products are NOT...

  • Will not balance your pH automatically like pH Perfect.
  • Will not protect your crops against poor yields caused by low or high pH levels.
  • Not all micro-nutrients in the typical 3-part fertilizers are chelated.
  • Cations and anions are not properly balanced for our specialized crops.
  • Have the wrong ratios of macro secondary and micro nutrients for your plants.
So now they still want to sell you an inferior product at 40% cheaper when according to them its not the right combo for growing high value crops so why would they still want to sell it to you?

I'm thinking this is another AN advartising campaign to boost the image of their GMB three part. I think they are using Jungle Juice as a fall guy to get into people heads that GH is inferior along with Jungle Juice to boost the "formulated for Cannabis" image of their three part.

If you look at the pictures above, you'll see that General Hydroponics' Flora Grow-Micro-Bloom is the exact same price as our current high-end Grow-Micro-Bloom that is pH Perfect AND...

  • WILL balance your pH automatically with pH Perfect.
  • WILL protect your crops against poor yields caused by low or high pH levels.
  • IS fully chelated.
  • Cations and anions are properly balanced for our specialized crops.
  • Has the proper ratios of macro secondary and micronutrients for your plants.
All the things Jungle Juice™ and General Hydroponics Flora Grow-Micro-Bloom WONT do.
You see, both Jungle Juice™ and General Hydroponics Flora Grow-Micro-Bloom are basic products. The real difference is that Jungle Juice has higher quality manufacturing, gives you more consistent results, and reflects a fair price for the benefits it delivers. There's just no way we could sell this product for the same price as our pH perfect Grow-Micro-Bloom.
