Pablo's 2011 SoCal Balcony Grow

Day 32 for the SCH. Day 27 for the Easyryders. One of the Easyryders is a runt. I would say that it's because of the smaller container, but I grew a couple of autos in those smaller pots last season that were normal size. Sprayed with Neem 2 days ago.

Added a tomato plant and a cucumber plant to the garden.

Day 44 for the SCH. I'm seeing pistils on her now.

Day 39 for the Easyryders. One is the runtiest, retard Easyryder I've ever grown. It seems to have these little leaves popping up and crowding out the top flower. Just weird looking all the way around. The other one appears to be the biggest one I've ever grown. Go figure.

nice lookin grow man! hows the smell ? I too grow on a balcony and I'm always worried about it.

Super looking plants so far. My Easyryders are on there way and will be planted soon. I too am planning to put them on my balcony. So it would be great if you could include some height and smell reports. I assumed if they were growing outside the smell wouldn't be an issue...?
I've been looking around for a thread about outdoor grows of eastryder, and there doesn't seem to be much around. So, thanks for your interesting posts and pics. Great work.

Thank you! Smell isn't that bad right now. If you have enough of them, it's possible for the neighbors to smell them. Nothing I really have to worry about because of my situation.

Thanks for the compliment. Smell can be an issue, it just depends on your situation, how many plants, etc. I've seen a few outdoor Easyryder threads. Feel free to check out my balcony grow from last year, which included Easyryders. Might be some helpful info there for you:

Best of luck with your grow.

Heyy Pablo, good to see you've got your girls out in the sun! I have two seedlings that just sprouted outside. I'm working on getting my next grow together but actually might be moving to SD to work with my friend/old neighbor who supplies Sweet Island Skunk to the clubs around ocean beach

Hey King, good to hear from you and thanks for stopping by. OB is an old stomping ground of mine, but I've never been to any of the clubs. Check out the new Pizza Port. And Shades, Tower Two, Third Corner, the Vine, South Beach Bar and Grill and others I'm forgetting about. Plenty of good food and beer.

Those easyryders are looking nice man, bushy and lush. I read the whole post good stuff. I saw bags of MG and FoxFarm in different pictures. Which worked better? What your favorite mix?

Thanks Mort Fink. I only use FFOF for my mj plants. The MG is for my flowers.

Day 49 for the SCH. Not too many pistils, but it's still shooting straight up. No side branching.

Day 44 for the Easyryders. I found a worm on the runt. I guess that's what had it's way with 2 of my leaves. I'm assuming it was a budworm, looked like one, but I haven't seen any of the moths/butterflies around. Guess they stopped by at night. In any event, it was easy to find because there's no buds that it could hide in. I'm going to spray with BT tonight. It might be a good time to start tenting again.

Nice! Yeah it seems like the perfect place to live if you're in your twenties. If I don't then I might stay in the bay and work in the berkeley area - no plant limit there! :leaf:

I'll be in OB next weekend though to check it out and discuss the possibility of moving; regardless I'll definitely be getting another indoor op soon. Not entirely sure that I'll make a thread on it tho...it's a lotta work and if I have more plants than usual, even if it is legal, I don't want to be attracting attention to myself in any way. especially on these damn computer-interweb things.

Thanks for the info on places in the ob, I'll try to remember to let you know how it goes.

And your ladies are looking fantastic! I've never done any autos but your grows make me want to give them a try :)

Hey King, sounds good and perfectly understandable about the journal. Autos are cool, but if you don't need to grow them . . . don't. Photoperiod plants are way better. I'm bummed that I gave so much of my Kandy Kush away. It was the best weed I've ever had. I'd love to grow another one, but I probably won't this season.

I hear that, I'm sure the photoperiod girls do get more potent due to more time to mature. If I ever come across some kandy kush seeds or clones I'll be sure to pick some up:)
