well funny you should ask that ozgirl.
my mate smiddy gave me an air pump so i got a 5 litre ice cream tub some matress foam cut squares an cut slits in the foam
and put some rooting powder in the water phed the water to 6.0 or there abouts
and put some cuttlings in there.

so bassically i made a dwc cloner.

i have some in rockwool an jiffy pellets but i think my shed is to hot.
and my veg cab is like tin aswell so i think i'll have to run my fan 24/7 while the light is on.

i'll post some pics later.

Hopefully you will have some luck with the dwc, I'd like to try one of those myself. im surprised you have such a hot shed in tassie, you may have to just keep running your fans 24/7, I do and my temps stay under control. I dont know if thats possible for you though.

yeah ozgirl i need to get a fan speed controller i think cause my 2 big fans make to much noise to keep running 24/7 wish i could be good.

Edit:

here ya's go few pics dodgy as all hell the flouro is pretty stuffed i think will do for now
i had it on 24/7 also so i cut it back to 18/6. to try avoid the heat of the day
so its off at 10am back on at 4pm.

dunno if this is gonna work dnt think my air pump is powerful enough.
might have to get a few things from DHS

Oh thats cool j, I reckon even I could make something like that, and yeah it would be good if you could find a way to run your fans without the worry of noise, dont want the neighbour hearing those things.

flowering day 7.

ok few pics ppl plants 1 week in and some clones
ok dwc cloner pump is crap not many bubbles but the foam seems to be doing the trick i put cloning powder all the way up the stems like all the stem that is inserted in the foam i mean and well it worked not roots on the stem that is in the water but parts of the stem in the foam are forming lots of roots and needless to say im very happy.

also i put rooting powder in the water it just sat there so i changed the water and just stuck a cap full of rooting starter in there thats what its called. got it at the local garden shop.

anyway guys have a good one.
cheers

I replied to this yesterday, and my post has dissapeared (insert confused look) lol. Thanks for putting the pics up J, was wandering if I could use rockwool cubes in place of the foam. And the plants are looking beautifull. :)

hmmmm im not sure oz girl you could try.

oh and minor update 4 females 1 nasty male which i pulled last night.

Looking good J, im not sure just how cold it is down there, but im sitting in brissie, and im freezing right now, the night temps are really starting to drop. Im putting some mulch in my indoor pots because I just read it helps to keep some warmth in the pots, not sure it you would want to try something like that, but its an idea that might help.

ok so one of my white widows is going yellow and the leafs are dieing so i got a product called cal max

has calcium magnesium and iron in it

mixed it up with my nutes it's potent stuff ec read 08 before i added my nutes so i put a light amount of nutes in and fed my sick girl see how it goes.
i bassically flushed her out with the fresh nutes see if she recovers

Day 22 or 3 weeks 1 day.

ok girls are looking ok the one that was yellow seems to be coming right after being treated with cal max into the nute mix and also foliar fed.

all the plants have got popcorn buds all over them so hopfully they start to get nice and fat and juicy.

Awesome J, looking great. Those leaves look exactly like mine did when they started turning, just watch it doesn't start travelling up the plant
