I suck at keeping grow journals. If you end up following this you may end up cussing me out for delaying pics or updates. I'm trying .. but what i find is most difficult is PICTURES. taking them, uploading, editing to size .. it's a pain in the ass to me, but I do enjoy the discussion and the idea of a journal... I'll do my best to give ya the blow by blow.
Here's what I'm working with:

IN FLOWER
Reserva Privada - Cole Train

Medical Seeds co.- Hammerhead ( White Rhino x Medicine Man)

Next Generation- Grapefruit Diesel ..

Soil: Roots Organic, Sunshine Mix 4 advanced (separate). I also use Plant Success myco for transplanting.
Nutes: Fox Farm Liquid Trio also experimenting with Botanicare CNS trio. Maxicrop sea kelp, Superthrive, molasses

AREA
Flowering ( will change) 2x4x5 tent equipped with a 600 hps cooltube exhausted with a 545 cfm 6 inch inline.

Veg room
a big kitchen pantry approx. 3x8x10 (will turn to the flowering room).. being lit by 6 bulb 4 ft T5 fixture.

ok ....i'll give you the text first. Cole Train will be done in a few weeks. As you can see what i have in flower right now were some attitude freebies (except whiteberry).
let's talk about MY Cole Train. I've seen alot of shitty reviews on this strain. the pheno i have is short, sweet smelling in flower, and a nice producer. This motherfucker is a HEAVY, HEAVY FEEDER. It's looking pretty yellow in it's last weeks even though i dosed it with Veg nutes almost the entire time.
Yellowing in flower is a problem i ALWAYS run into with the first feeding of bloom nutes. This has to be personal error because even if i feed heavy in veg, and continue to feed N heavy nutes up until week 3 of flower... that first dose of bloom foods starts off the loss of green. Now i have some theories behind this
I tend to underwater, I try to read my plants but always use less nutes for fear of burning shit up. I'm only a year and some change into growing so i'm wet behind the ears.
so Cole Train is beautiful it was FIM'd in veg ...i think i got a decent pheno. Seems as though it's taking a bit to finish. trichs are ready but it's continuing to pop out hairs and it looks as if the ovaries are still swelling. I've been saying two weeks for two weeks, but it looks like it'll be two more weeks.
Whiteberry......3 and half into flower
I wish this was the first plant i tried to grow. It's extremely easy. Has a beautiful stature ( stretched like crazy in flower), huge indica leaves... just beautiful, easy girl. This plant went untrained until a few days ago when it was getting too close to the light. I just bent her over a little.
Sweet Deep Grapefruit.
Being a freebie i figured this was going to be ...unimpressive???
well it stretches a good bit in flower, but out of any strain i've grown the pistils on this thing are FAT. at least three times the size of any of my other strains in flower. This strain was topped in veg. Like i said before .... this plant looked like it had excessive N going into flower. First use of bloom nutes 1-3-2 and it dropped it's leaves like a bad habit. This strain is at about 4 weeks.

If anyone has some suggestions what may be causing me to get this yellowing and drop so early feel free to help. I've read plenty of threads, talked to my hydro guys.... I'm not sure what the fuck is going on. But you'll get a better idea with the pics.

ok .... now some pics. something i rarely do. All the pics are labeled as of what plant they are. You can see the Cole Train is the most mature. Sweet Deep Grapefruit next ... ( any advice on the tip burn and curl???) gave a big dose of N.... Then we have the youngest yet largest out of the bunch Whiteberry... thought it was going to be small.

then you'll see my veg room ( it's been taken hostage by gnats). I have the Strawberry Blue next to go into flower along with the two Hammerheads. also are pics of my 4 seedlings. 3x Strawberry D-Lite, 1 Grapefruit Diesel.... also a few different clones of the whiteberry. ...

Here's some of the Cole Train dried and cured for about two weeks .... the smoke was decent. It didn't have an extremely strong or definitive smell. If i had to say anything i'd say a floral smell . The taste lacked a bit ...nothing to speak of ... a bit of a sweet, floral inhale that was a bit harsh. But the potency made up for the taste and yield. It was a nice motivational in small doses but surely an indica. A half of a joint gave me a happy motivational high... a whole joint is clear headed yet bodylock ...or couchlock if you're on a couch.

so far i can say that these are the most dense buds i've ever grown. It packs on FAT hairs in flower and would've kept producing more if i had given it another week and i should've. Saddly funds are tight, trichs are mostly cloudy on the indica, and i can't go much longer without the cash i can save from buying bud as opposed to smoking my own..... i'm rambling
here's the pics .... i'll add more to come. I'll give the final numbers on the SDG when it's dried. The Coletrain gave me roughly 50g give or take a few a gs. bit of a disappointment but I don't plan on growing this strain again. It almost cost more than it's worth to feed it.

It's by far the stinkiest of the bunch. It has a fucking crazy smell ...like crazy glue mixed with skunk mixed with a citrus. I'm looking forward to growing these hammerheads out but i have a feeling it's going to be a HEAVY smoke. Just smells like a lung busting, couchlock, indica. Couple others have grown Hammerhead so i'm still trying to get more info on others experiences. Figured i couldn't go wrong with a Medicine Man cross not to mention it's crossed with some other type of White Rhino.

one more update. Let's scratch Kushage from the menu. It's fragile tap root is being eaten by gnat larvae as we speak. ALSO ... gotta scratch Lemon Skunk for the same reasons.
The GHS- Lemon Skunk was a 5 pack i bought a bit ago.... 3 of the seeds have succumbed to larvae all at different times of the year. the other two just didn't want to grow. I'm calling shit seeds on GHS or at least their Lemon Skunk. Not because of my error but i've had other seedlings suffer the same fate. It just seems like the GHS didn't put up a fight, whereas the other did.
I've been having gnat problems since September ...i usually start them in soil that was watered with Bt to kill and prevent any larvae from forming. Usually what will happen is once the seed breaks ground and pops it's head off, it's all clear. GHS was sprouted for at least 4 days before the larvae feasted....... Just doesn't make much sense since my other seeds treated the same way took off.
i'm rambling ...high from some Sour Grapes.

My last run from seed was a different pheno ...it was a bit more stretchy and was way sensitive to bloom foods. Matter of fact i burnt her to shit right before chop adding a booster. This one is just as finicky with the bloom foods and is a N hog.
this pheno is def more of an indica structure. nonetheless it's been on of my favorite smokes, along with the whiteberry i just harvested....
I recommend whiteberry to anyone who needs and easy, tasty, potent hybrid.

Yeah i had to feed mine more N all the way through up till the last 4 weeks of flower to try and keep some greenery on her and she just ate her ass off i was watering every two days and when i tried to give her straight water she would began to look kind of sad so i ended up feeding her with every watering..until flush!

here's a few pics of my hammerhead. as you can see alot of think long hairs. It has an odd smell in flower but rubbing the stem reveals a kind of fruity, crazy glue smell.

Now hear is my new flowering room so far. It went from this set up.

ok... i feel like i need more light now that i have more space, or at the least a new reflector.
Notice the open ended cool tube ( it's being exhausted into the ceiling with a 6 inch inline). Can i get away with that??? any suggestions on what i can use as a dust filter. Also, i have plenty of air circulation and pretty good temps going on in there (just threw the A/C in kitchen)
i could really use some advice on this new setup. I have my temps optimal but i'm sure there's something else i could be doing ...
anything would help.....

hmmm ... hard to say. My first HH to be done is purposely being grown in a smaller pot as well as a whiteberry clone. I'm trying to test out fdd's theory that you can yield well no matter what size pot. I'm not convinced.

Two phenos i have flowering are VERY branchy, stretchy, bushy. The buds on the recent hammerhead will be done soon. Trichs are already cloudy and it's only been about 6 weeks. It doesn't look like it's going to be a big yielder.... Like i stated before the hairs are abundant but very thin.. the undergrowth is minimal and wispy ( an indication to me, that the buds will also be light). It is loaded with crystals, the buds have a funky fruit smell now..... I'm curious to see how it goes.
I've heard a few bad reviews on it but i'm giving it a chance. If for no other reason... it's short flowering time is VERY interesting.

Very Nice Im Subbed ... I just added BLZ Bud to my grow - I killed some seeds trying.. Grapefruit Diesel, Trainwreck, LA CON, Big Bang.
How does the Strawberry Blue smell ?? I have 1 and am thinking of doing it next. Also how much wieght are you getting from each harvest from the 600? w/ how many plants .. I want to know what I can expect soon
